What's Lurking in That Tree?

On Friday, I blogged about how I drove the Kawasaki around the farm checking on all of the sprinklers watering the gardens.  After my inspection, I continued my drive when I spotted something quite large lurking in a tree.  I was rather surprised by what I found.

The Importance of Water

The Importance of Water

Despite the hot weather, I’ve been feeling quite energetic these days.  Of course, I’ve been drinking a lot of water to keep myself hydrated, which got me thinking about all of the plants out in the gardens and wondered if they were getting enough water?

Strawberries!!!

It’s becoming berry season at the farm and that usually means a bountiful harvest.  We Frenchies noticed that the strawberries, the first berries to ripen, were ready to be picked.  Strawberries are so pretty and sweet smelling and really, who can resist?

Before I hurt my dewclaw and needed surgery, Francesca and I were making our usual rounds of the farm, looking for anything new and different.  It was difficult for Franny because she had classic tunnel vision due to wearing the cone-shaped color, so I guided her around.  It’s good to help each other out.

After so much fun and so many adventures touring the streets of New York City, we, Frenchies, thought it would be a good idea to pop into the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia space in the landmark Starrett Lehigh building.  It’s always inspirational visiting the offices.

Even though I’ve been away in Tennessee, I have been reading this blog and all of your comments.  I am now proud to report what has occurred!  I won a couple of more ribbons for my collection and gathered more important points!

A Strange Van in our Driveway

A Strange Van in our Driveway

While we, Frenchies, were out and about the other day looking for spring flowers around the farm, we happened to notice a strange work van parked in the driveway.  Being the curious dogs that we are, this odd sighting called for a full-scale investigation!
