We were making the rounds with Ryan, the gardener, the other day.  He took us into the hoophouse where he keeps Martha’s potted citrus trees for the winter.  I happened to notice that the clivia plants were blooming.  Clivia are such happy looking flowers!

I, Ghenghis Khan, was asked to make a delivery the other day to the tropical greenhouse.  I hadn’t been inside for quite some time, so I decided to have a look around.  Because this structure is for tropical plants, the temperature and humidity levels are quite toasty and it feels like a jungle.

Ryan decided it was time to mix up a very special brew of tea for all of the plants in the greenhouse.  It’s compost tea made in the Compost Tea System from Growing Solutions.  It’s a wonderful organic way of feeding and the plants really like it!
