Planting New Arborvitae Trees

When Hurricane Sandy blew through last October, she took down about 150 stately trees on the farm.  So much cleanup has been going on and now that spring is here, some new trees are being planted.  You can read all about it on Martha’s blog today.  You know how much we Frenchies love to be …

On a recent blog, we told you about all of the rose bushes that were dug up at our home in East Hampton and brought to our farm in Bedford, where they are all being planted.  It will be a beautiful garden with roses galore!  Ryan, the gardener, took photos for Martha’s blog when he …

You know that we, Frenchies, are never afraid to get our paws dirty and you may recall last autumn when we helped out in the garden by planting tulip bulbs.  Well, we are very happy to report that we are now enjoying the fruits (flowers) of our labor.

More About Swapping the Gardens

Wednesday’s blog was all about the old vegetable garden and how it’s going to be swapped with, what has been, the cutting garden.  We Frenchies decided to cruise down to that garden and check on the progress.  This swapping of gardens is quite a production!

Supervising the Plants Again!

We had such a beautiful Easter with so much great holiday decor.  In addition to all the fun bunnies, eggs, and baskets, there were gorgeous plants throughout the house, which were brought from the greenhouse.  I happened to catch Ryan as he was removing the plants yesterday.  I always like to supervise this job.
