On Martha’s blog today, she posted a lot of beautiful photos of planting the giant urns on the Skylands terrace.  When the work was complete, Uncle Carlos suggested a drive to Bar Harbor so that Ryan could see some of the local flavor.  It’s always a fun town to visit.

As Martha wrote on her blog today, we’ve been getting much too much rain and we, dogs, couldn’t get outside too much to explore.  Many things are blooming, or beginning to bloom in the garden, including all the allium, and we finally got to enjoy their beauty.

Sharkey and I were driving around in the Kawasaki recently in search of some beauty in the woods.  Sharkey was uncertain which road to take so we stopped and asked for directions and we finally found what we were looking for.

We, Frenchies are so very happy that spring has finally arrived.  Pretty flowers are beginning to bloom all over the farm.  We decided to take G.K. around and show him some of our favorite areas and it turns out that he has a real appreciation for flowers.
