All of a sudden the weather turned cold. Sharkey and I put on our warm jackets and went outside to see what was new in the world. We were so happy to find that many pumpkins and gourds had been arranged for decorations. We love pumpkins and Martha grows many unusual varieties. Come and take …

This past weekend, Martha took us back to Skylands, in Maine. Because of the approaching Hurricane Bill, the weather was a bit rough for a couple of days. However, that never stops us from going out and exploring nature and we had a great time at the Seal Harbor beach.

Sharkey and I really love to visit Skylands in Maine. Last weekend, we went there with Martha and we did so much walking. Fortunately, there are many comfortable places to sit and rest and we did plenty of that, too.

The other day, Martha and Shaun, the gardener, were discussing the fact that the onions and garlic needed to be harvested. Shaun had planted many, many varieties of onions last spring and there was plenty of garlic planted last autumn. Sharkey and I heard them talking about how you must cure the crop …
