Spring is Time For Fly Masks

Spring is Time For Fly Masks

Francesca and I were walking past the donkey paddock the other day, when I spotted something a little strange.  Billie didn’t look quite like herself and I wanted to find out what was going on, as I have no qualms about entering the donkey paddock.

It’s amazing how fast the gardens are growing now that the days are longer and the temperatures warmer.  We Frenchies think that if one stands still for a long enough period of time, one could actually see the plants grow.  Of course, who has patience for that when there are so many other things to …

Mt. Deserted Island

Mt. Deserted Island

While we were in Maine last weekend, the three of us dogs wandered around looking for action.  We were quite startled at how empty the little towns were and at how so many of our favorite shops were closed up tight.  Mount Desert Island was looking more like Mount Deserted Island!

As previously posted, we Frenchies and G.K. went on a road trip with Uncle Carlos to Skylands, our home in Maine. It takes a good eight hours to drive there and it is a lot further north than our farm in Bedford.  None-the-less we were very surprised at what we found there!

As you know, we Frenchies, have been searching for signs of spring in the form of lovely flowers.  We’ve had such mild weather lately, that it’s little wonder flowers are blooming away.  Even cheerful daffodils are opening up.  However, the temperatures today are much colder and there may even be a frost tonight.  What will …

We’ve had a long stretch of some very mild weather, mostly all winter long.  It seems with all that mild weather, combined with humidity, we’ve also been having many foggy mornings, stretching into the afternoons.  What can bring cheer to gloomy days?  FLOWERS!

All this week, we’ve been reporting about our trip to New York City and what we did there.  We really had plenty of adventures and a really fun time.  We especially loved shopping in a very special pet supply store called Zoomies!
