The Today Show Came to the Farm!

We Frenchies were delighted to see the crew from the Today Show arrive at the farm yesterday.  They set up their equipment for a little one-on-one with Martha and Matt Lauer.  We’re not supposed to tell you what it’s about, but you can watch it on television on April 30th.

The Burlap is Coming Off!

You know spring is officially here when you see all of the hundreds of yards of burlap being removed from the shrubs and ornamental trees that it protected all winter long.  If you want your plantings to look decent after a long winter, burlap is definitely the way to go.

We Frenchies were playing outside the other day and we got kind of cold so we decided to visit Ryan and Wilmer in the greenhouse.  As usual those guys were very busy working magic with plants.  We always learn so much from them.

As you know, Francesca has been confined to the house and to a crate.  Recently, we got the go-ahead for her to resume her normal activities, erring on the side of caution.  I thought that a farm tour would be a good idea, so I fired up the Kawasaki and took Franny for a ride!
