You know spring is officially here when you see all of the hundreds of yards of burlap being removed from the shrubs and ornamental trees that it protected all winter long. If you want your plantings to look decent after a long winter, burlap is definitely the way to go.

There are some big changes going on at the farm concerning the vegetable garden and the cutting garden. The plan is to swap locations. After we toured the seedlings growing in the greenhouse, we found Ryan busy at work in the headhouse. Ryan was carefully separating tiny seedlings and replanting them in individual plugs. It was quite fascinating to watch.
