Well, it’s happened again!  Summer was officially over last Saturday when autumn marched in!  And pretty soon there will be piles of autumn leaves to play in.  That will be fun!  But for now, we can still enjoy lovely flowers because Martha has made certain that there are plenty of autumn blooms.

You may recall when we posted a blog last July about the new guinea fowl that were being raised in the corn crib.  Well, we noticed the other day that the corn crib was empty and we were wondering where the guinea fowl disappeared to.

Martha asked us to do a chore at the farm the other day. She told us to feed Clive, Rufus, and Billie some nice apples and carrots.  I don’t mind doing chores, but it would be nice if Sharkey did some of the work, as well. It seems that she always manages to …

We Found the Garlic and Onions!

We Found the Garlic and Onions!

Posted by Francesca

While we were in Maine, the garlic and onions were harvested at the farm in Bedford.  I recalled this blog that I posted in August of 2009.
The other day, Martha and Shaun, the gardener, were discussing the fact that the onions and garlic needed to be harvested. Shaun had planted many, many …
