More Hunting at the Farm

The other day, we, Frenchies, blogged about how Princess Peony was trying to attack the canaries.  Well, shortly after shooting those photos, we went outside and found her sister, Empress Tang, involved in a bona fide bird attack!  Even though we hunt squirrels and the like, ourselves, we couldn’t help but feel sorry for the …

Hunting Canaries? We Don't Think So!

Princess Peony, one of the calico Persian cats, is a very persistent bird hunter.  We understand that cats are carnivorous and that bird hunting is simply instinctual.  However, we have to draw the line at Martha’s pet canaries.  Leave the canaries alone!

The East Hampton Town Pond

While we were walking around East Hampton, we went past the Town Pond, and our eyes nearly bugged out of our heads!  The color of the water was alarmingly green.  As you can imagine, we were extremely curious and struck up a conversation with the resident swan.

A Stroll Through the Cemetery in East Hampton

Over the Fourth of July weekend, we joined Martha in East Hampton and we took a little stroll through the very old cemetery in the town.  Francesca and Sharkey seemed a little scared at first until I assured them that cemeteries are perfectly safe places to be.

We, Frenchies, were walking around the farm the other day when it was especially hot.  We noticed that the donkeys were not out in the paddock, so we went to visit them at the stable and ask how they were doing in all of the heat.

We were driving with Uncle Carlos going past the tenant house when I remembered hearing something about washing the windows of that building.  Washing windows is loads of fun, especially when I sit back and watch Sharkey do all the work!

Hayride at the Farm

If you were able to watch Martha’s grilling special last Friday night, then you’ll know that hayrides were given around the farm.  We, dogs were asked to go along as the tour guides.  It was a lot of fun.

A Grilling Party at the Farm

A Grilling Party at the Farm

We had a lot of commotion recently at the farm.  Martha was involved with filming her very first grilling special called Grilling Secrets of the Master Chefs, premiering tonight, June 24th at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.  There was a big party where the guests got to eat all of the delicious food and, …
