We, dogs, have been hearing Martha talking to Betsy about the possibility of getting another horse to take beloved Martyn’s place, may he forever rest in peace. We decided to help with the search, so we trotted (no pun intended) over to Cogi Farm where, we were told, there might be a Friesian for sale.

Perhaps you saw Martha’s television show last Friday, when Sharkey and I were part of a canine fashion show. It was all about winter wear for dogs. Sharkey and I have been going around the farm, inspecting all that’s being done in preparation for a long and cold winter. I started thinking about all the creatures down at the stable and if they would have a sufficient supply of hay to get through the season. Here’s what we found.

Driving around in the Kawaski the other day, Franny and I stopped by the chicken coops and sadly reminisced about our poor friends, the turkeys. Franny nearly lost it when she heard a gobble-gobble, but I kept my head and made a rather pleasant discovery.

We don’t know what you do with your pumpkins and gourds once Halloween and Thanksgiving are past. At the farm, when they’re no longer needed for decoration, we put them to really good use.
