Euphoria in the Garden

As you know, we Frenchies have been away at Skylands, but we were told that the catmint was being harvested in the Bedford garden.  We remembered this blog posting from 2009 and decided to share it again.  Silly, silly cats!
Sharkey and I witnessed some strange behavior in the garden yesterday causing me to do …

A Donkey Update

Hey everyone!  It’s Clive, Rufus, and Billie filling in for F & S while they’re still away in Maine.  Gosh!  How we miss those bold little Frenchies, who like to bark at our feet.  They better watch it or they just may get a good kick one of these days!  Anyway, here’s a little update …

Well, I see that Vivaldi snuck a blog in yesterday.  He thinks he’s so clever!  Anyway, before Francesca, G.K., and I left for Maine, I visited the stable and was mildly alarmed at how quiet things were.  After a few inquiries, I found out why.

Being the dogs on the farm, Francesca and I feel an instinctual need to protect our territory.  So when we notice something awry on the farm, we have to track down the cause!

While we were at Skylands, our home in Maine, Martha did a lot of Entertaining.  I like to sit below her while she is eating, in hopes that she might share with me.  Oh well, I guess it is a little obnoxious, but isn’t that what dogs are supposed to do?  When it became apparent …

Frenchies on the High Seas

While we were in Maine, Martha took us all out in her Hinckley Picnic Boat for the first ride of the summer season.  It was a glorious day and there were many sailboats out on the bay racing or just tootling about.  We Frenchies got to talking about sailing and perhaps setting off on a …

Hey Wilmer! You Missed a Spot!

Martha’s blog today is all about the terrace garden and how it needed to be pruned back into shape.  We Frenchies were making our usual rounds of the farm and decided to inspect how Ryan and Wilmer were progressing with the terrace.  Good thing we did because we found something amiss.
