GK Went to the Groomer

Posted by F&S

It’s very important that dogs be groomed on a regular basis, to ensure that the pet is healthy and comfortable.  We Frenchies are groomed in the basement laundry room, but GK, who has thick chow fur, requires a professional to do the job.  Yesterday, GK had an appointment at Stonybrook Pet Spa in Harrison, New …

And Then We Paid a Visit To The Horses

Snow, snow go away!  We want spring to come and stay!  We went to visit the horses just before it started to snow really heavily the other day.  Check out Martha’s blog.

It occurred to us that we Frenchies hadn’t visited the donkeys in quite some time.  It was snowing yesterday, but we got on our warm coats and headed down to the donkey paddock.

The Lawn Rakes Are Out!

We Frenchies were wondering what the farm crew has been up to, so we took a little walk to find out.  It’s so nice to think that winter is nearly over and that spring chores have begun.  However, more snow is expected today and that does not make us happy.

Who’s getting tired of winter?  We Frenchies say, “Enough is enough!”  One good thing we’ve noticed is that the days are getting longer, which sometimes casts a spring-like glow.  We know it’s just a matter of time, but we’re getting antsy for spring!

During the winter, it’s so nice to be able to spend time in the warm and toasty greenhouse and enjoy all of the splendors growing there.  The other day, we Frenchies, spent some time communing with Martha’s beautiful begonia collection.

Creating New Plants in the Greenhouse

We Frenchies were playing outside the other day and we got kind of cold so we decided to visit Ryan and Wilmer in the greenhouse.  As usual those guys were very busy working magic with plants.  We always learn so much from them.
