The Great Wall of Bedford

The weather was so nice the other day and we Frenchies spent a good part of it outside. The sun was shining warmly and we went to one of our favorite vantage points – The Great Wall of Bedford – right off the terrace overlooking the farm.

2 It's fun to just sit here and watch life on the farm.

3 I know - I know - I have a very cute pink belly.

4 Hi Jeff. How is the security detail going today? Have you checked all the buildings and patrolled the perimeter of the property? Martha will want to know.

5 Mike, how are things operating on the property today? Are there any problems Martha needs to know about when she calls?

12 Oh, I see. It's a plane passing overhead. Maybe Martha's on board coming back from her book signing. We've missed her.

Washing the windows

The other day, we were watching Gyurme, one of the Sherpas, who works at the farm. He was busy taking down the screens and replacing them with storm windows, but he seemed to be moving a bit slowly. We asked if something was wrong and he told us that after eating a big lunch, he also ate rich cupcakes – too many of them. He didn’t feel much like bending down and we Frenchies, saw that Gyurme needed our assistance.
