Meet Sharkey
I was born on February 18, 2005, in Trappe, Maryland. While my personality is laidback and easygoing, I’m always ready for a good adventure. If I see something I need to chase, like a squirrel, for example, I’m out the door and across the field without hesitation. I also really love to intimidate the donkeys even though a kick from them would probably really hurt. Francesca complains that I’m much too spontaneous and daring, but I just really like to have fun. I think Franny believes that I’m just not as smart as she is, but she is a bit of a snob.

Yesterday, we told you how G.K. went to visit the donkeys and how they became instant friends. That dog sure has a lot of confidence and isn’t bashful one bit. It’s kind of amazing just how curious and friendly he is. Take a look at this little adventure he went on.

We Frenchies needed a bath the other day and, as you may know, we’re not too keen on baths. I can’t tell you exactly why, but just the thought of getting one makes me shake like the dickens. Anyway, Martha thought it would be a good idea to have G.K., the new pup, watch how …

The other day was really windy and rainy. As much as we animals wanted to go outside and play, the weather made that rather impossible. Our new brother, Ghenghis Khan (G.K. for short), wanted to go outside very badly, and I had to give him all the reasons why it would be a …

This past weekend, Franny, Ghenghis Khan, and I traveled with Martha and Uncle Carlos up to the beautiful state of Vermont. Martha wanted to visit a place called Viking Nordic Center to learn about grooming trails for cross country skiing. While she was having a lesson about that, Franny and I decided to go off …

This past weekend, Martha dressed us in our Lion Brand Yarn www.lionbrand.com sweaters and told Carlos to get the car ready for a road trip. She wanted to drive to East Hampton to check on the house. Of course, there were stops to make along the way, including one to The Home Depot. We, Frenchies, …

Upon further exploration around the house, Franny and I discovered something most unusual. It was the cutest little tin filled with the cutest little contents. And you know, anything having to do with French bulldogs is simply superb!

During the holidays we went with Martha down to the stable, where we found Martyn. The other Friesians were outside playing and we wanted to keep Martyn company for a while. He is such a great friend and a beautiful horse.

You know how curious Francesca and I are about all things. Recently, we found ourselves pondering a little creature called a woolly bear caterpillar. We heard somewhere that these fuzzy things can actually predict the weather. Imagine that! Maybe they can find employment with the Weather Channel!

Yesterday, Franny and I were outside playing when we heard a lot of banging noises coming from the stables. It’s always a good idea to check these things out, so we trotted on down there. You know how curious we are.

Last Saturday night, we had our very first snowfall of the season. It wasn’t very much snow, but it was quite pretty. A thin blanket covered the farm and Francesca and I headed out for a little winter adventure. We’ll be sure to show you more snow pictures the next time it falls.
