Last Sunday, Karen Tracy, my breeder, came to the farm in Bedford for a visit.  She brought another Chow with her named Sequoia.  We had a lovely visit and Martha took a lot of photos of me, which she wanted posted on The Daily Wag as a photo gallery.

Occasionally, Francesca and Sharkey will allow me to post on their blog and when I do, I always get the greatest comments from the Glue Squad.  I can’t wait to see how many I get after everyone reads this!

G.K. Visits the Tropical Greenhouse

G.K. Visits the Tropical Greenhouse

I, Ghenghis Khan, was asked to make a delivery the other day to the tropical greenhouse.  I hadn’t been inside for quite some time, so I decided to have a look around.  Because this structure is for tropical plants, the temperature and humidity levels are quite toasty and it feels like a jungle.

I, Ghenghis Khan, love to bask in the sun out on the terrace.  I also love to bird watch and from that vantage point, I have a very good view of the long line of feeders hanging from the eaves on the backside of the carport.  I spotted something a bit unusual the other day, …

On Wednesday’s Daily Wag, the Frenchies explained about some of the ways that we dogs manage to stay cool during hot weather.  I, G.K., decided to leave the coolness of the kitchen’s marble floor and venture outdoors to see what I could see.

Thank you everyone for your concern about Francesca and Sharkey.  It’s been rough around here lately.  Even I, Ghenghis Khan, was caught limping around and when my blood was tested at the vet, it was discovered that I, too, have Lyme disease!  Bloody ticks!  So now we’re all taking medicine for one thing or another.
