Meet Francesca

I entered this world on December 13, 2004, in Pinewood, Minnesota. I’m a bit older and certainly far wiser than Sharkey. Like Sharkey, I’m also friendly and quite curious, but I’m more cautious about letting my curiosity get me into trouble. I must admit that we do have fun together. I just know when to stop. Martha describes me as being a bit obsequious, but that’s just my ability to pull the wool over her eyes. I’m just clever! I do have a high opinion about myself, and my fashion sense is magnifique! In fact, Je suis fabuleuse (I am fabulous.)

You know how much we Frenchies love to drive and Uncle Carlos took us to a really fun place the other day.  It’s called Grand Prix New York, located in nearby Mount Kisco.  This is an amazing place where you can go and drive little racecars around two beautiful indoor tracks.  They told us that …

Baking a cake for Fernando

Baking a cake for Fernando

You may recall how Sharkey and I love to bake.  When we were told that Fernando, who works at our farm, was celebrating a birthday, we decided to get busy in the kitchen.  We wanted to throw a little party to show our appreciation and what we baked for Fernando turned out really well.

You may recall that last June, we blogged about a photo shoot that we were a part of regarding the latest in Halloween costume couture. At that time, we were sworn to secrecy and weren’t allowed to show you the costumes that the craft department made for us. However, now that Martha’s latest …

You know how we Frenchies love to run and we did a lot of running on all the gravel drives up in Skylands, our home in Maine. Martha thought our footpads looked a little tender and she said we should have a doggie pedicure. Uncle Carlos took us to the laundry room in …

A meeting at our house

A meeting at our house

As you may know from reading Martha’s blog, she recently hosted an all-day meeting at our farm in Bedford. Sharkey and I always like to attend these functions and put in our two cents. The meeting was fascinating and the crowd was very friendly. It was a most successful day.

Pondering the beauty of Skylands

Posted by Francesca

Sharkey and I really love to visit Skylands in Maine. Last weekend, we went there with Martha and we did so much walking. Fortunately, there are many comfortable places to sit and rest and we did plenty of that, too.

Buckets of flowers in Maine

Posted by Francesca

When we were at Skylands in Maine recently, we were so surprised to look out the front door and find buckets and buckets of beautiful flowers. You know how much we Frenchies love flowers, so naturally, we pushed open the screen door to have a little look.

Meet our friends Tressa and Sky

Posted by Francesca

As part of OUR pledge to help dogs in need, we want to use our star power to bring attention to the fact that many employees of Martha’s company have helped out our kind (and even cats) by taking in animals in need. We thought it would be great to tell you some of their …

Francesca gets fooled

I couldn’t find Sharkey the other day and I was getting a little concerned.  I thought I found her, but something wasn’t quite right.  Then things got a little crazy.  Take a look at this!
