The Bone Appetit Seat

Since we blogged about our new homemade food we’ve been eating on Friday, we thought we’d continue with the culinary theme and show you photos of an amazing highchair for dogs.  It’s call the Bone Appetit Seat and it was a gift to Martha from Talin Lyman of Talin Tropics in Boca Raton, Florida.  It …

Homemade Dog Food For Us!

We Frenchies, and G.K., have been put on new diets because of some allergy issues.  We had been eating a mix of premium canned and dry food, but because our allergies persisted, Martha wanted to try something new and different.  After consulting with our veterinarian, Martha is now cooking for us and we love it!

Hide and Seek

It was such a beautiful day at the farm yesterday and we, Frenchies, were outdoors enjoying all the splendor.  For amusement, we decided to start a game of hide and seek, but of course, one of us couldn’t follow the rules.

We, Frenchies, were outdoors the other day, when a very strong and sweet aroma filled the air.  We saw some commotion down by the long pergola and we went to check things out.

Planting Wax Begonias in the Garden

We, Frenchies, like to keep the gardens looking good for as long as possible.  After the spring-flowering plants have faded away, we look to robust annuals to take their places in the borders.  Wax begonias are a really good choice.

Princess Peony, one of the calico Persian cats, is a very persistent bird hunter.  We understand that cats are carnivorous and that bird hunting is simply instinctual.  However, we have to draw the line at Martha’s pet canaries.  Leave the canaries alone!

While we were walking around East Hampton, we went past the Town Pond, and our eyes nearly bugged out of our heads!  The color of the water was alarmingly green.  As you can imagine, we were extremely curious and struck up a conversation with the resident swan.

We, Frenchies, noticed that the door was open to the tenant house and we wanted to see what was going on.  The floors in that house are highly polished and very slippery to walk on, so one must always be very careful.

A Visit to the Donkeys on a Really Hot Day

A Visit to the Donkeys on a Really Hot Day

We, Frenchies, were walking around the farm the other day when it was especially hot.  We noticed that the donkeys were not out in the paddock, so we went to visit them at the stable and ask how they were doing in all of the heat.
