One Fine Feline

Posted by Pia

Hello dear friends, waggers and members of the glue squad...
I am sad to report that we just had to bid farewell to our beloved feline, Chauncy- brother to Minnow and a truly wonderful soul indeed. Chauncy has been a solid part of our extended DW and Squad family, making regular appearances here on The Wag.

Since being adopted, Chauncy has lived a long, full life amongst the humans and fur kids who truly loved him. Learn more about this very special soul next week.

Rest in peace sweet boy.

  • Dr Pia, Minnow and Luna,
We are so sorry to read about Chauncy. We believe he is beyond the Rainbow Bridge enjoying life and lying in a nice warm spot. No more aches and pains. Chauncy will be there to welcome all of us some day.
Rest well, Chauncy, your job is done.
    Blessings and love,
    Brutus and Max

  • Oh Dr. Pia

I'm so sorry, posts like this make me and mom really sad. Chauncy will get to meet my sister Precious now and she will take good care.

Sending all of your Frenchie kisses

  • Hi Dr. Pia and Sweet Minnow, So sorry to hear about your loss of beautiful Chauncy. He certainly was a beautiful adopted cat and I'm sure that Minnow loved him, also! It's always so hard to loose a great buddy and my uncle Tim lost his beautiful cat several months ago and we lost my great friend Cricket several years ago! Sure hope you and sweet Minnow are feeling OK and hope you will have a great weekend and no more snow! We are still getting lots of wind and rain where we live! I'm sending hugs to you and your family! God Bless you all! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOX

  • Mom and I are sorry about the loss of Chauncy. We know that the angels are taking good care of her. Hugs.

  • Hello Mama Pia, Luna & Minnow and family,
I knew Chauncy was going through chemo, and he was so strong in deed. But now we all have another guardian angel, like my Warrior Prince Basil. I bet Herman the Cat, from Abby's household had a purrrfect welcome for Chauncy. It is so hard for all remaining when a furry soul leaves this earth. Our prayers are with you Mama Pia, Luna, Minnow and your Daddy and the rest of the gang. He had a wonderful home, being rescued, with all of you, so be proud.
    Love and licks,

  • Dearest Dr. Pia, Minnow, Luna and your entire family,
I am so sorry to learn about Chauncy. He'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for you all. Our Shelties Rocky and Sandy loved kitties and will be good playmates for Chauncy.
I know you were a great Mom.

  • Dear Dr. Pia and family:

  • So sorry for your loss! I just had my kitty Charlie die. It's so sad when you think you see them run by in the corner of your eye and you realize they aren't there anymore. =(
