You know, Sharkey, while we're still at The Home Depot, we should check out the Martha Stewart Living Christmas decorations.

Hi there, Rita. We know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but we want to look at all the pretty ornaments.

Martha sure has some beautiful sets in her collection.

Should we take these Jingle Brights Poinsettia and Finial Ornaments?

Decisions, decisions - Do we go with this 100-pack Frost collection with tree topper?

Oh, one more thing! How about a Martha Stewart Living pre-lit tree to hang all of the ornaments on?

Sharkey, this one is quite nice and very realistic looking. What do you think? Did you bring any money?

  • Good morning,
I will turn the computer over to Maddox in a minute but I just had to go first because I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes. You are all so very special to me. I wanted to do this over the weekend but I had a big surprise on my birthday. You know the chow Val that Maddox talked about that came here to have puppies? Well, she had them and it was on my birthday. How special is that. She had 3 boys and mother and babies are doing well.
Again, I thank each and every one of you for thinking of me on my birthday. This really is a Glue Squad. Much stronger than Super Glue or Gorilla Glue put together
    Love to all,
    Karen

  • Hello,
Well, Karen told you all the big news that happened over the weekend. I wanted to do it but since it happened on her birthday, I left her have the honors. I felt bad for her. She never got to even eat anything till 10:30 in the evening on her birthday. I am going to try to bake her a cake today. Hehehehehe.
Now for the Christmas ornaments at Home Depot. Jan has a Martha Stewart Christmas tree and lots of the ornaments as well. I didn't know they were shatterproof. That is a very good thing. Very pretty too. I think I will buy some for Karen to put up along side her darn sock monkeys. Who has a Christmas tree with just sock monkeys? We do. It should be chow ornaments. But I must say the little buggers are cute. They are all different, dressed in all kinds of outfits. Nurse, golfer, fireman, chef, all kinds. Well, I must get off the computer cause now Mammy Jean has to do some kind of banking on it. Busy busy morning here
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Good morning Francesca, Sharkey and Glue Squad.
Congratulations Val and Karen! What a great birthday surprise! Three boys.....Val certainly has her paws full! We bet they are soooo cute and cuddly.
Our Mom and Dad went to the Home Depot...without us...this weekend. Mom said she oohed and aahed over all the Martha Christmas decorations. They hauled lots of bags in the back door and down to the basement. Wonder what's in those bags...hmmmmm.
Not much happened around here this weekend. We helped Mom and Dad wash, iron and hang sheers on the downstairs windows. Whew...what a chore..8 windows equal 13 panels of sheers. Glad that is done for the winter.
We were under the threat of severe weather on Sunday evening, but luckily all we got was strong winds and a little rain. I, Brutus, didn't even get scared and head for the basement.
That's about it around here. Mom has a breakfast date and Dad and Maxie are still in bed. Think I'll take a little snooze as well.
    Pugs and kisses
    Brutus...and Max (in his dreams)

  • Good morning, Sharkey and Francesca. Martha's Christmas decorations are so beautiful. Thanks for showing us some of them.

  • Good Morning F & S

So tell me did Sharkey fork up any cash so you could buy the tree Franny? Do you have your own little tree in your blog studio? If you don't you should, you could have all tiny ornaments that look like dog treats. I love Christmas trees I enjoy chewing the wires on the lights ;)

What a weekend, mom was home all day Saturday. I used my sad Zoe face on Friday night and it worked, she cancelled playing golf. We spent lots of time in the kitchen and watched cooking shows all afternoon. We watched your mama make bread on TV and she made it look so easy. I think that is in our schedule for next Saturday. Tell her to keep the phone handy in case we have any issues. Yesterday she was gone at the crack of dawn but wasn't too late. The Eagles finally won a home game so she was pretty happy.

Karen congratulations on your 3 new puppies and how cool was that they were born on your birthday! Did they get names yet? Martha maybe it's time GK gets a brother?

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Not much going on around here today. The weekend was nice but I had to stay home while Mommy and Daddy went to church yesterday. They leave me in charge while they are gone. In charge of what, I ask? It’s just me alone for a few hours. Someday they just might take me with them. But I won’t hold my breath until then. Hehehehehehe It rained last night and everything outside is wet. I hate soggy feet!!! I’ll bet the pups are as cute as buttons. Now where did that saying come from? I haven’t seen any buttons I would call cute.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Girls & Glue Squad Buddies,
Well this is my kind of blog---Christmas and trees. I hear we have 3, only 1 last year up with my arrival, but I will be the Home Decorating Manager for all 3 this year. Actually there will be 4, I get my own live one. F & S does Mama Martha have any doggie/kitty themed ornaments? My tree will be about 2 feet tall, and I am told I get to hang all the past doggies' ornaments on it until I have more. I have a few special ones already. Red will be my color theme, and I wonder where that idea came from? Hehehehehehe I can hardly wait to see your home decorated F & S. Is Mama Martha having a holiday special?

My weekend was wonderful. Saturday Mom and my people sister, Sara, did some retail therapy and I rested from the trip. Now Sunday, Mom and I had the entire day to ourselves and planned for Thanksgiving. I did watch the Bronco game in the evening. Did you hear Peyton on one of his calls? I sure did, Bacon, Bacon, Bacon!!!! Oh Missy, we are coming your way with your Pats next Sunday---will it be a rumble stampede? Well, it will be a food party and that is the important part, right?

Karen and Maddox and of course, special Mama Val, congrats on the boys and being delivered on your birthday Mama Karen. All boys, my oh my, you will have your hands full. Maddox, in no time you will be training them for deck time. What did everyone else do this weekend? Hope you all have a GEM of a day.
    Love and licks,
    Ruby

I love seeing all of these beautiful Martha Stewart Christmas decorations that are available at Home Depot! We have so many of those gorgeous items and Mom and I will probably go back and get some more new ones! How sweet that Rita was kissing and petting you sweet girls and I would like to do the same thing to you two and GK! Hope you have another great day and stay safe! Nice to hear from Karen, Maddox, Brutus and Max, Angela, and Zoe already this morning and hope to hear from more of you great buddies real soon! Mom and I finally got to go to Costco with Uncle Tim driving her truck and I loved looking out the window all along the way to the shop! Mom also got 3 of Martha Stewart Essentials at Walgreen and she is very happy! Sunday was very rainy and windy so we didn't go anywhere else! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • :-) Shopping again! You girls certainly get around, what great advertisers you are...bravo Sharkey and Franchesca, such willing little Frenchies! ;-)
I looked for shatter proof ornaments for my painting projects but could not find any undecorated ones at the time.
Kitty ran up and down the hallway this morning after eating some pulled pork left over, this at 5 am ....it was funny hearing her thundering gallop.
How adorable to have the puppies come on your Birthday Karen...hope they are all well.
Can't believe Christmas is around the corner...I'm not a good shopper anymore especially when it snows UGH! I think I'll buy off the Internet this year.
So dear DW-GS friends have a delightful Monday! :-)
    delia & Kitty =^, ,^=

  • Good morning my sweets,
Great shopping trip! Mimi has some glass Martha ornaments from the K-Mart days. She loves them, they one dozen is a pretty light green and the other is a pearly cream. We hang them in the middle of the tree so the lights shine on them.
We had some bad storms here. A town just north of us, Gifford, IL, is in terrible shape as well as Washington (that's west over by Peoria). We are waiting for calls for help from citizens. So far the emergency people are doing all the work. Citizens are to stay away for now.
Our Bears fans had to leave the stadium for a while 'cause of the storm. What a game it turned out to be. Our quarterback yells "hurry, hurry, hurry". I think I like "bacon, bacon, bacon" better!
I sure would love to see pictures of the new puppies, wouldn't you?
    Have a great day everybody.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello Dear Franny and Sharkey and GS buddies,

Ruby, are you excited about turkey day?? Maddox, Karen and Mama dog Val congratulations on the puppies! They really must be cuties. Its 62 degrees here and so nice and sunny!
Time for me to go read some more Hemingway..
Have a great Monday Dudley, Missy Chow, and everybody,
James Dean the persian cat boy
