  • Good Thursday Dr Pia and everyone!
Well, we voted. At least we hope we voted! And we will continue to vote every day until someone tells us to stop.
Sorry we didn't post on Wednesday. Way too much coming and going and sickness. Mom hasn't felt good for a while now. She doesn't know if it's a cold, the flu, (she has to get a flu shot for work, but has scheduled it later this month...ouch) sinuses or allergies. Who knows. And Dad was the chauffeur all day. Daughter-in-law and grandkids. Then Brutus went to the doctor in the afternoon. He is a mess. Scratching and chewing. His tail is a big mess and his butt looks terrible. Anyway the vet says he has fleas. Mom doesn't believe it, but Dad disen-fleaed the house tonight after she went to work. And Brutie got a shot in the butt and a flea treatment. Now he has to take medicine for a while. And I had to get a treatment too and I'm not even itching! Hrumph! The shot in his butt kinda made up for all those names he called me last week! Kinda.
And the roofer guys are still here.
So our house is in a whirl-wind of activity.
    Whew! Makes a guy tired.
Zoe---I hope T-Bone was told to leave your things alone! I hate it when someone messes with my stuff. I'm sure your Mom understands and forgives you.
Ruby...that tube up the nose and the mold in the sinsues does not sound like fun. Not at all. Give your Mama a big hug and lick.
Welcome Malcolm Fawcett! Tell us all about yourself.
Guess it's time to go to bed now..Brutie is conked out...the vet told Dad to give him some Benadryl.
    Peace out Sqauders!
    Max---always on alert.

  • Message for Malcolm
So, you want to be a Glue Squad member. I have been told you have been commenting for a long time, long before I came on board. All we ask is that you try to comment on a regular basis and the most important thing is that you must be very supportive of all of our Glue Squad members. I for one, think you would be a good part of our group. No one from the Squad has said anything different so I guess it is official. You are a member of the Glue Squad. Welcome aboard Malcolm.

  • Hi Dr. Pia and Minnow, My Mom wants me to thank you for this latest great blog you presented for us to enjoy about taking care of our pets in the best ways there are in the world! My Mom takes me to 2 different vets when ever extra help is needed! Even though I feel upset when I go to my vet, I feel much calmer and better because they treat me so nicely and that makes Mom very happy, also! These photos and information you shared today are wonderful! Sweet Minnow, I'm sending you a big hug and maybe you could give Dr. Pia a big hug from me, also! Hope you have a great weekend! Delia, sure hope Kitty is doing better! Chewy, please say Hi to sweet Black Mama for me and I miss hearing from her! Ruby, sure hope you are taking good care of your Mom, sweet Lynn! Malcom, welcome to our Glue Squad group! Hope the rest of you are doing well, also! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Hello All & Happy Thursday,
Mom said to tell you that she will be learning CPR for sure. This brought to mind when Basil had a seizure of some sort and she went BA NER CO. She pounded on his chest and he was coming out of it o.k., but OMG I need her to know the correct way to do this. We will also be voting until told to stop. Max, be sure and tell Mom that these molds from the floods are blowing everywhere, that could be bothering her too. The ENT said sand gets in noses in Colorado from China. Wow!! Hard to believe. Have a GEM of a day all.
    Love and licks,
    Ruby

  • Hi y'all,

  • Hello Dr.Pia, Maddox, Malcolm,G.S. buddies,
Nice post about pet CPR, very important. My Mom knows CPR and sometimes needs to do it. She has helped save some cats and dogs. I hope everyone learns it too.
Well, Brutus I hope you and your family feel better! I am back today from the horse farm and lots of adventures. Need to rest up because after today Mom has 8 work days in a row. I saw 18 cats, 4 horses and made a new dog friend,Sadie the border collie.
Zoe, bud, how's it going?? Maddox, I was very brave by the horses! Ruby, what's up with the fungus????
Missy Chow, how 'bout those Sox???
Delia, Jimmy really missed you and sends his biggest persian purrrs. Off to see my gran papa..
    Abby the pug/peke/ranch dog!!!

  • Good morning Dr. Pia,
We voted, too. We'll vote each day, I promise. Now, this CPR stuff. Mimi says pet CPR is a very important thing to know how to do. I was wondering if I don't chew a cicada good enough and then started chocking, well maybe I'd need CPR? Oh, yah, that's that himielick manuveur. That's funny, it sounds like hinneylick manuveur. I can do that!
Hi to my sweetie patootie, Minnow.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • .yo..we voted! busy day today..tearing out a fence line that has been buried for years..nasty barbed wire..I hear the tractor being fired up and a picnic lunch and rain-gear and shovels and picks being loaded..wow..this looks like fun..gotta get Black Mama and the tribe together so they can help..later, Chewy

  • Poor Mr. Mayer....this is his 1st Halloween at our house and he's in for a big surprise!! Sophie and I have costumes and I heard mom talking about what to get for Mayer...he doesn't like his rain coat, so I'm sure he's just gong to love this...NOT! Sophie and I humor mom and let her dress us up so we can go to the door with her to welcome trick or treaters, so he better just get in the swing of things! We even have some loyal friends that bring us a treat when they come to the door...it's too cool..hope our fellow glue squadders have had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend!
    Chloe, the Queen Cheweenie

  • Dear Dr. Pia & Minnow...I am so honored you shared this and am keeping paws & fingers crossed. How amazing would 2014 and beyond be if so many more people learned how to take care of their dogs and cats by learning animal life-saving skills?! The gaze from adoring eyes, tail wags and loving licks are the best reward for being prepared and knowing what to do for our four-legged best friends.
