Some Of GK's Weekend Excitement

Posted by F&S

As you may have read, GK was whisked off to another dog show.  His breeder, Karen Tracy of Liontamer Pazzazz Chows, sent us photos over the weekend and we thought it would be nice to share them with you.

Karen took this photo of GK using her cell phone. It's not the greatest resolution, but he sure looks handsome at last Saturday's dog show held in Middleburg, PA.

Karen wanted to show all the glue squaders that her new boarding kennel is nearing close to completion. It looks quite state-of-the-art.

The walls are Polymax sheets, which are also used in many horse stables, milking parlors, zoos, car washes, food processing plants, etc. This material is mold proof, mildew proof, and really easy to clean.

However, the man installing the tile surprised her by including Pazzazz, the name of the kennel, in the design. It's a nice and thoughtful touch, don't you think?

Here he is on the electric grooming table. There's no need to do any lifting. You just put the dog on the table and flip a switch and the table lifts to the right height.

GK is checking out Karen's new Chris Christensen Dryer that does a fantastic job on getting the loose fur out. It has high velocity to blow water out and low velocity for detail work. GK says it's super quiet, too.

  • Hello G.K., Karen and all my Glue Squad Buddies,
I had to check out G.K. before bed and darn, it is worse than America's Got Talent--I have to wait another day to hear if our Glue Squad Buddy took home the Gold. Whatever, he is golden in my eyes. And it is worth the wait to see the magnificent Pazzazz Kennels of Karen's. I think I would really like this spa/bathing with a window. Wow and double wow batman!!
That tile work is fancy, smancy Karen. And G.K. so lucky to be the first. Now, what I want to know is when is Mama Martha sending her private jet to get all the Glue Squad and we can have a party in the new kennel. What Mom, Karen wouldn't go for us partying the night away in the new kennel. Zoe, you could decorate with T.P., and I will get Mom to bake thousands of Warrior Prince Biscuits. What again Mom, you can't bake than many...well, whatever you can bake. And of course, Mama Martha will send hard boiled eggs for us all, and we can have a private tour and meet each other and Uncle Carlos and Karen and Mammy Jean. Oh, I am waking up now, but it was a nice dream. Maybe someday Glue Squad. I better try and get back to my sweet Pazzazz Kennel dreams. Thanks for sharing Mama Karen and I wait anxiously for the show results....to be continued tomorrow. Have a GEM of a day all.
    Love and licks,
    Ruby

  • Hello,
GK had a good time here and he loves going to the dog shows as I did. Did you see the picture where Jan is holding him? She used to do that with me. I used to fall asleep like that. Speaking of sleep, I better get back to bed. It is too early to go to work on the kennel. I will be back later to visit with all my friends
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Wow, what a fancy pants set up! :)

Can't wait to see how GK did!

    Happy Tuesday to all..
    gail

  • Good Morning F, S & GK

So we have to wait until tomorrow to find out the results!!! OMG - so not fun :(

Karen that is some set up you have there - maybe I would enjoy a bath in that fancy tub. I'll need a box to sit on so I can see out the window while you are blow drying me, not that I need a dryer I have no hair :) A good towel dry does the trick for me.

Nothing exciting going on her in South Jersey. The weather is heating up again which I'm not too happy about I'm ready for fall.

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
I missed out yesterday; took a long weekend. Hehehehe What good pictures of GK today. I’ll bet he was just thrilled to death by getting to be the first to try out the new tub. That wouldn’t thrill me at all. Someone else could be first and I wouldn’t mind it one bit. The place really looks like it would be a pleasure just staying there. Maybe we could all meet there for a sleep over just before the grand opening. That would be great, but no trying out the tub thank you. I think it would be great if everyone of us sent a picture of us in the tub getting a bath. On second thought, that would mean that I would have to get wet. Not such a good idea after all.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Morning GK, Karen & Glue Squad Buddies - Wow..The new kennels are certainly state of the art, beautiful!! What a nice touch to have the name cut out in tile, bet Karen was certainly surprised to see it; but especially like the window to look out at when you were being groomed. That looks like fun :) . We can't wait to hear how you made out at the show, I know you made us proud ;) . Ruby, you know how to dream. Dudley, so sorry to hear about Kitty Boo. Brutus & Max, hope Gideon had a nice birthday celebration. Abby & James Dean, the "list" is coming, maybe "5" has been saved so far. Kitty, hope you are feeling better from your encounter with the other kitty, stay close to Mom. Hope all my friends are doing well. Dad is off to do errands, and I like it when Mom is home on vacation. Better run, she needs computer time too.

    Till next time,
    Missy Chow
    xoxo

  • Hello All you GS members and of course the most excellent GK! We are all in a tizzy waiting to hear about how you did at the show! We would all love to go to a show, I think we all are beautiful, but especially Mr. Riley boy - he is a real hottie (even if he is my brother!). We'll have to wait until tomorrow to hear the outcome. Karen's new kennels look amazing, very high class and I think every one of us GS members would be happy to stay with Karen, and to get groomed by her. We need a lot of grooming to look our best, and we seem to gravitate to the burrs and stickon seeds during our walk. Riley boy's tail is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately he's got burrs in it. Our mom has a big job waiting for her - he's not very helpful for sure. Well its also getting hotter up here, hopefully this is the last blast of summer .... we are looking forward to the cooler days coming. Riley got registered in dog school yesterday, we start in September and he's looking forward to learning new stuff. He also wants to try flyball, cause he can run like stink. He says he could beat a border collie anyday, so maybe we'll start him learning the course. Cool stuff. Hope everyone is doing well, so sorry to hear about the kitty with kidney disease, but know that they are now over the Rainbow Bridge and all is well in their world again.
Well, gotta get moving, I think its going to be a lazy day in the a/c - nice walk tonight when the air is cooler. Its getting dark so much earlier now, glad we have streetlights again. Back soon, Martha (writing), Miz Lu (who is loud and proud and likes to be in charge) and Riley boy (one handsome dude!)

  • Hello Glue Squad Buddies,
Had to vent a bit. Mom is crying lots and I am mad as....all get out. You see we have been getting the e-mail from our ASPCA stuff about the inter-state dog fighting ring bust and just saw about it on MSNBC. We are so happy they stopped this horrible, horrible situation---367 dogs involved. What I have to say is I just hope they stake down the PEOPLE (not very human if you ask me) with a short chain, like they did the dogs. There I said, and I am sticking to it. No, I am not proud of myself, but these bad people should have to live their lives like they made the poor dogs. O.K., I vented and I am done.
    Ruby

  • Good morning Big Guy!
I thought maybe Missy would think that G.K. looked dreamy in that first picture. I thinks it's got an "artsy" look.
Wow, what a beautiful kennel! The tile men were so thoughtful. They must like Karen a lot. I've got to say, I think I'd like Karen, too! Oh my, Ruby, you are the dreamer. That sure was a fun one! Golly, G.K., you sure look happy and so does Karen. You're much better at bath time than old Rebel boy here.
Speaking of baths, mine will be on Thursday. We're heading off to the north woods of Wisconsin for the long weekend. We'll be up at a place called Tomahawk. Do you suppose there is a Tommy Hawk up there in the tall trees?
    Have a great day everybody.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello G.K., Karen and all the Glue Squad,
It is wonderful to see G.K. looking so handsome in his furry finery with friends at Karen's beautiful new kennel. Mom loves the window for the dogs to see outside while being groomed. The runs are really nice and it is bright and cheery inside. We can't wait to see G.K.'s next post and his results.
Dudley, you always think of others and we are with you in our thoughts and hearts today. Kitty, dear kitty, be careful around the woods! Sorry to hear that black cat hurt you. Maybe I should call a skunk to give the intruder a present. I hope your puncture is o.k. Riley, you must be a great athlete and I hope you enjoy dog school. Mom has been teaching the boarder dogs tennis ball tricks, we have some awesome players there.
Dixie Boy, I am sure George will be home soon. Ruby are you doing any landscaping today? Missy Chow, we are watching the Patriots roster cuts closely.....
today the NFL teams cut down to 75 players.
Mom had our nails cut today which is needed but neither of us enjoyed it. Off to watch all the robins from my window perch, enjoy and carpe diem!
James Dean the persian cat boy

  • Hi gang,
Congrats to Karen on the new kennel! How beautiful and airy it seems. Love that the tile men were thoughtful enough to include that extra bit. Best wishes for the future to you!
George is home! He just got here about an hour ago. Yes, we were all glad to see him and him us! He's a bit groggy from the drugs and keeps laying down in a daze but that's alright. He's supposed to rest for a few days anyway. We just hope he doesn't have to keep wearing that lampshade. He's just tooo silly!
Ruby, you sure are a vivid dreamer. Thought that it was actually happening the way you were talking! It would be great in theory!
I hope everyone has a great day.
Ruby, I like your passion for the unfortunate dogs in the fighting ring! And tell your mom not to cry so much. I know it's heartbreaking but the dogs are now being cared for and the bad people will get their punishment. If not in this life, the next.
    Dixie Boy

  • Hello all! Sorry we are so late today...more about that later.
GK! You look great. And Karen, your kennel is beautiful. Mom loves the floor and that tile man was very nice to incorporate the kennel name. Really cool. Still waiting for the results, GK!
GK, you might like that tub (it really does look nice...especially that window) but Brutus and I will pass on the bath. Of course, we didn't have a choice this morning, which explains the lateness of this post.
Yes, we had baths today. No one asks if we want one. No. They just lure us up to the bathroom and boom! the door closes and I am in the tub. Brutus says he kinda liked his bath. He says he feels better. Not me! I was perfectly happy smelling like a dog! But it's over and thanks to me the bathroom is a wet mess! hahahaha
We are so sorry to hear about Kitty Boo. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Jan And Uncle Tim. We have a brother who is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. His name is Sparky and we still miss him.
George, we both know all about the "Neuter"! Like the bath, no one asked our opinion. You are told you're going for a ride, then you prance into some room with a metal table and the pretty girls, then snip, snip, you go home, drugged and a couple body parts missing. Hmmmmmm wonder if there's a connection with that metal table and the pretty girls. Gotta think about that.
Way too hot here in Ohio to stay outside very long. According to the weather guy the temps and humidity will continue like this through next week! Yucko!
Come on autumn and cooler temps.
    Pugs and kisses.
    Brutus and Max....always on alert.

  • Sorry forgot to mention this...Maddox my dear, tell your mommie that the kennel is superb and the PAZZAZZ tile lettering is so classy...I'm happy for you and Karen.

Ruby I know how you feel about the abused dogs, guess that's why I don't look at that stuff on TV it upsets me way too much and then I get angry and that's hard to get over with. I pray that God helps the dogs and punishes those scum of the earth humans that have done those bad deeds.
