She used some big word... grad-it-itood or something like that...she said she felt grayt-full to them.
I'm not exactly sure what that means but i'm pretty sure I felt it too.

  • Minnow, it certainly is nice when we can go back to places in our youth and remember all the good times.
We received some very bad news last night. Our Mom's sister, Pat, was found dead in her house. We are not sure what happened, but she was a very brittle diabetic. Her son, Brandon, is very upset, of course. Mom is helping as much as she can. Pat is Mom's only sibling. Pat also has two kitties, Lucy and Ethel. She loved them very much and they loved her. Lucy and Ethel are going to live with Brandon and his girlfriend.
We are sorry this is a sad post today, but we know the Glue Squad will understand and give support to our Mom.
    Pugs and kisses,
    Brutus and Max

  • Good Morning Minnow

Looks like you had a nice visit at the lake, it sure is a beautiful place.

I'm sitting on mom's lap right now at the computer and feeling very lovey, mom is calling me a mush and giving me lots of hugs and kisses. She really doesn't know I'm being like this because I'm cold - hehehe ;) With this nice cool weather we have EVERY window in the house open trying to get rid of the skunk smell so my cute Frenchie butt is chilly.

Brutus and Max sorry to hear about your mom's sister, give her hugs from me and mom.

    Zoe

  • :-) Love going down memory lane with you sweet Minnow and your mom! I felt like I was there. How very nice that the new owners respected your loving deeds by preserving them...I think that is special!
When I went back to the Alps after 50 years and experienced being there, I felt like I transended back to my childhood because nothing changed. It was overwhelming.
Dr.Pia why didn't you become a Veterinarian? You certainly had the love for caring and helping animals...but what you do fits you well, and you know how much I admire you for this...I love your Heart!
Minnow you were special to be able to experience this with your mom....
Thank you for sharing your moms childhood with us and the love your mom has for animals that's shown through good will.
As an artist I was absolutely am in aww over the painting Pia's mother did...wonderful painting! I would love to see more of these paintings done by your beautiful mother :-)

Sweet itsy-bitsy little Minnow and tiny Dr.Pia, thanks for sharing wonderful memories today.
Take care be safe and well, as well as my DWaggers-GlueSquad friends

  • Hi Minnow and Dr. Pia, I absolutely love seeing all of these photos of you and your Mom, Minnow and how fun it must have been to go to Moosehead Lake with Mom and Dad! You look so darling and so does your Mom in all of these photos! Your Mom sure has always been a sweetheart taking care of so many animals forever! How fun to see her kitty Seymour that she had many years ago! She is so lucky to have you and I know you love her too! Sure hope you have a great weekend and will love to see you again very soon! Brutus and Max, so sorry to hear about your Mom's sister Pat dying and my prayers are with all of you forever. Please stay safe. Zoe, sure hope that awful skunk smell goes away soon so you can feel warmer in the house! Give your Mom a big hug! Hope all the rest of you buddies are well and safe! Love Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Hello F&S, GK, Dr. Pia, Minnow and all the GS buddies: Wow, what an amazing blog on your Maine vacation - it just goes to show that things change very slowly in some places, and change is not always better. Its nice to come back to a place to find it is as you remembered it.
Brutus and Max, we are sending your Mom our condolences on her loss - make sure that you guys give her lots of C&C time to help her through this sad time.
Well, the Glue Squad has been burning up the internet with all the back and forths - congrats to Melissa on her new pup - have you decided on a name yet? I know well how bringing a male into the pack sometimes creates problems, although I brought a male puppy into a female household we still had some issues with dominance and who ruled the roost! Growing pains, still got em, but things are somewhat better now, hopefully a lot better as time passes.
Ruby Gem, hope you have a wonderful time with your Mom, and Professor, you have a wicked sense of humour! A boy after my own heart.
Well, gotta go for now, we'll check back later to see what madness everyone has gotten into in the interim ..... Love and beardie bounces Martha, Miz Lu and Riley boy.

  • Wow - Seymour really got me! :') What a bittersweet moment that must have been. We have our own little pet cemetery here - they can be very special places. Thank you to the current owners of Sandbar Island for honouring this.

  • Good Day Everyone!
Mis loved this Minnow! Although you forgot to warn her that tissues would be required. Good tears!
First, I hope James is doing better and Lucinda is making him behave so he gets better soon! Our prayers are with you.
Brutus and Max, our prayers are also with your mom and her family. Our glue squad shoulder is here to cry on! Use it anytime!
We've acquired a new addition to our family this week. It will be permanent if no one claims him soon or Mis puts more than $1000.00 into his care. If I can tolerate him, he will live with us, otherwise a home will be found. No shelters! His name is George and he's a 28lb., 5 month old fireball. He's a Pittie mixed with hound? possibly lab. Everyone has fallen for him except me and Zeke. Territory and dominance are our priority. Izzy just wants to mother him but we won't let her. Peace is all Mis wants and I'm doing okay with that. So far nothing is a surprise, except for how smart he is. Someone had taken some time to start basic training with him. Just can't see throwing him out. By the way, he's a Road Runner like myself. Mis's sister found him Sunday and couldn't leave him, not that she would. So our new adventure begins. It's been 23 years since Mis had a puppy in the house. I'll be helping her! HA HA!
Okay, time to walk the brat.

  • Hello Minnow & Dr. Pia,
Late getting on today, as Mom and I have been having so much fun together. I love this blog Minnow. Your Mom certainly has the model genes of her mother. Very photogenic from day one. Many of us are cute from the get go, what can I say. Mom and I smiled and cried at the photos, so very touching. Thank you for keeping us in the loop. I have had to keep a really close eye on Mom today. A giant package came with lots of people treats in it, and she is going to gobble till she wobbles I think. Right now, she just got done with a bubble bath (at 3 in the afternoon, I said), but when you are on a big sugar high, the sky's the limit I guess. Tonight is pizza for us and tomorrow Dad will be home with hopefully trout for the Ruby Gem. Have a GEM of an evening all.
    Love and licks,
    Ruby

  • Evening Dr Pia, Minnow & Glue Squad Buddies - It looks like you and your Mom had a great time on vacation. It looks so relaxing and to reminisce all of your Mom's favorite places must have been really fun. You look so cute in all the pictures. Brutus & Max, please give your Mom an extra hug & kiss for us. We are so sorry to hear about her sister. Well wishes are being sent to James & Lucinda, hope James' is feeling better. Black Mama, Ivan & Ivanka, make sure they have extra c/c time with all of you. Dixie Boy, sounds like your Mom is busy with the pup, remember is he only a pup, it takes time..just ask my Mom, hehe. Hope all my other friends are doing okay.

    Till next time,
    Missy Chow
    xoxo
