Time Lapse and Daffodils
Posted by F&S
Recently, we posted a blog about a time lapse camera aiming at the new and gigantic daffodil border at the farm. Reading your comments, we Frenchies realized that there was some confusion about how this all works. Maybe this blog will clear things up.
1 You may recall seeing this little structure on a previous blog.
2 Well, it's a shelter for a time lapse camera. Previously, this house was used for a time lapse video camera, which needed to be plugged in, thus the hole for the power cord.
3 Here's the little battery-powered camera, which I had to upload all the photos it took yesterday onto the computer.
4 Now, I just have to get the roof off and place the camera back inside so it can resume its job.
5 Easier said than done!
6 Maybe if I just think real hard about it....
7 Voila! And the camera is now in place behind the plexiglass window. There's something to be said about the power of positive thinking.
8 Sharkey, I see you're positioning the camera to aim at this new 3,000 bulb daffodil bed.
9 You know, I noticed that the daffodils were starting to spout, but now they're covered with snow AGAIN!
10 Oh well, what are you going to do? Eventually, the bulbs will emerge and put on quite a show for this little camera to capture. All who see the display will be awed!
