We Frenchies were wondering what the farm crew has been up to, so we took a little walk to find out. It's so nice to think that winter is nearly over and that spring chores have begun. However, more snow is expected today and that does not make us happy.
2 Hi, Wilmer! I see you're busy cleaning out the lily beds. You're doing a good job cutting everything back.
3 I'll just lie here and watch you work. I'm fairly sure that once the beds are clean, you guys will blanket them with a generous layer of that amazing black compost.

Hello Girls & Glue Squad Buddies,
It really looks fantastic how you are with all the guys and having fun and working on the farm. It is good to see you, Francesca running and feeling so great. I can hardly wait to see your farm this spring and summer. Winter I don't think is over yet. We are hearing talk of a foot of snow for here in town over the weekend. More snow games. Yahoo! I am with you Abby, getting in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. I helped Mom on card making yesterday and got to go on a walk with my new collar. I would like to be back in the Beginners class once again. Oh, the good old days (like a day ago), and now I have to really be minding. I am in intermediate training 101 with Dad. It really isn't what I had hoped it would be---it is hard work, but he gave me a B+. Pretty good, I think. I did well encountering friends on the walk and no incidents. Oh, and I got to have some Alaskan Bass last night. I think every one of you would love it---no bones, just the filets.
Have a GEM of a day all.
Love & licks,
Ruby

Good morning everyone,
You girls are sure full of pep. Run, chase, relax. I am so happy to see everything is back to normal Francesca. I hope you don't have to go through that any more. I am sluggish today. I played hide and seek. I didn't see Ollie the Ox but i am so smart, I found all the biscuits that I hid. Maybe that is why I am sluggish cause I hid a lot of biscuits. Hehehehehehehe.
We didn't get the snow yet that we are supposed to get today so I think I will do some deck time before it shows up.
Later maniacs,
Maddox

Morning Girls & Glue Squad, I bet both of you enjoyed watching Wilmer and the others start to get ready for spring. A new beginning of another season, yeah!!! That means more outside time for a longer period of time once the clocks get changed this weekend. Cora-Belle, hope you are feeling better this morning, Ruby, good job B+, it takes time but you will get it, the training all falls into place. Mom still from time to time, has to "refresh" my memory
. Maddox, glad you found all your biscuits and Ollie the ox didn't get to them first, hehe. It's raining now but temps are in the 40's, so maybe we will luck out and only get rain but things could change. Hope Zoe is behaving for Dad, bet she will have stories next week. Dudley Do Right, what's new with you? Rebel, how's things? Abby & James Dean, Mom hasn't said anything yet about St. Patrick's Day, but I'm sure she will get me something green to wear
, Kitty, give Mom c/c, she must be tired of the snow this week. Riley, when do you start training? Hi Martha, Lucy, Molly & Jake, Kirby, Chloe. Hi Gail, Sonya & Lynn.
Till next time,
Missy Chow
xoxo

Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Oh my, the wind is really bad here today. It started about ten last night and hasn’t stopped yet. When it’s blowing this hard, I don’t get to go out in the back yard. We have some really big pine trees there and some of the lower limbs are dead. Nothing wrong with the trees; just how big pine trees are. Mommy is afraid that one of those dead limbs will fall out and hit me. There are three limbs on the ground right now. Nothing big, but big enough to hurt me. So I’ll just stay indoors today and enjoy life with my Daddy. He wants me to get off of the computer so he can check on the dog race; The Iditarod.
Catch you later, Kirby.

Hello Ladies, and all our Glue Squad Buddies:
It looks like so much fun to be able to watch all the activities at the farm. This weekend they are forecasting temperatures into the 50's, so Mom will be out in the yard picking up all the winter debris (and probably doing poop patrol). We love to be outside with her, hopefully all the snow will start to melt - its been an icy mess out back for a while, really hard going to walk on.
Nothing much is new and exciting, we are all just hanging out - Riley is harassing a cat - well he says he is just trying to get Bailey to play with him, he doesn't understand that its different when a dog wags its tail to when a cat swishes her tail! Ah well, some things are learned only through experience. Cora Belle, we hope you feel better with your meds, and Missy Chow, Riley will go to school in the Spring - he really needs to get some learning into him. Our breeder will be taking Riley on the road - she wants to get him his Canadian Championship, so she'll start out small - he's just a puppy still. He watched the Westminster Dog Show and aspires to be a Beardie like Mr. Baggins. We all went to school, Martha is the most obediant of all us, I'm also good (when it suits me!) and I'm sure Riley will get the hang of it. The cats march to the beat of a different drummer, they only please themselves!
Well gotta go, talk to everyone later, looking forward to sunshine and warmer temps this weekend.
Just Lucy today (middle wild child).

Hi Francesca, Sharkey, kirby, Missy chow, maddox, Ruby, Rebel, Ms. Chow and all my buddies-
SNOW coming...... OOOOOOOK. If I had t.p. I would make a big caution tape around the house to keep it away!!!!
We cannot see the pictures of Franny running around but I am so glad she is feeling better! Ruby Tuesday, good job on that training girl friend. Alaskan bass does sound yummy. When is my buddy Zoe coming back?? Miss her already, may have to get into some mischief just to honor her. Cora belle, I barked at all the dog boarders for you last night! I hope you feel better soon! Take it easy today. Kirby, those pine tree branches sound scary. Missy Chow, there is snow headed our way so keep warm and safe! Might patrol the yard and graden today with Mom before the weather changes. We are OFF today so lots of cuddle time. Jimmy was foolish to let everyone know he is a cat burgler, but then he is a persian boy and loves jewelry. I bet Kitty does not hide earrings. Rebe, Lucy, Jake, Riley, Empress tang, the donks, the chickens, Dudley, everyone be safe and have a great day!

Good morning ladies!
Wow, what fun you had! I'm so glad to see you both feeling frisky again. I can hardly wait to be outside with Papa raking the yard & looking for my ducks. The ducks were by the house a few hours before the storm started, wonder where they went off to.
Snow isn't too deep at our house but all icy underneath. It was a dicey car ride to work this morning. It won't last long 'cause it's already getting warmer out YEA!
Take it easy Cora Belle, I know about the hovering that goes on when you don't feel well. Mimi is always kissing me on the head, good grief.
Hey Ruby girl, good going! B+ is very, very good. Boy, I bet that fish tasted good.
Til tomorrow.
Your pal,
Rebel

Sadly, not so much here in NH. Snow still on the ground with more due Thursday/Friday! Grrr...
I thought those piles were gopher made.
"Tailless Butt" made me smile!
Have a super Wednesday..

Dear Martha - I too, have two French bulldogs - Mr. French and Norman. I am concerned because in your latest issue of Martha Stewart living, writer Cromwell has an article about pet travel. She states that airlines don't allow short-snouted dogs to travel in the cabin. This is incorrect, they don't allow them to travel in the cargo section of the plane because of pressure issues and lack of oxygen. My frenchies only travel in the cabin with me and my son. They have to be able to turn around in their Sherpa carriers comfortably, and you must have the health certificate, and they can't weigh more than 22lbs. We have have found United to be the best airline to fly with the dogs and the most helpful and sympathetic.
Many thanks,
Alice
