  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
And hello to you too Dr. Pia. Yep, you can see spring all around us here in the south. The sun is warm, the flowers are coming up and it’s in the low 30’s this morning. Yep, spring is here. But not to worry, things will heat up around here and we will be wishing for some cooler weather in a week or so. Our springtime only last a few days and then it gets hot really fast. It’ll be in the 90’s before you know it. Going to the mountains in a few weeks. When I get back it’ll be hot here. Welcome spring; can you stay a while?
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Dr. Pia & all my Glue Squad Buddies,
I love all your springy photos today and lovely quotes. #2 is especially my fav as it could me me soon celebrating my first and second birthdays. Today is a very special celebration too---it is my 4 month anniversary with my forever family. I have come a long way baby in just a short time. I am learning to trust my family and know they love me, I don't countersurf or do my fearful patrolling of the house and yard. I know someone always comes back to me if they leave. All YOU great buddies here on the Daily Wag have shown me the way. Professor Maddox was correct when he said for Mom just to put me in front of the computer---the Glue Squad would do the rest. I love you all clear up to God and you are the best. Have a GEM of a day.
    Love and licks,
    Ruby

  • Hello Dr. Pia and all my GS buddies:
Spring will be amazing this year, and we are hopeful that it will come soon! Riley has dug an amazing hole in front of the deck which Mom will need to get out and fill in soon. Its Riley's first spring and he will soon be able to help us supervise Mom's gardening jobs. We will sit out there for hours with her, sometimes Lucy will bring the frisbee for Mom to throw, but usually its peaceful with the sounds of birds and the occasional car far away (we live in the country). I'm dreaming of the warm sun and the happy deck time ......
Oh well, back to reality, looks like we'll have to wait just a little longer. Everyone have a good day, be happy that Spring is getting here and be nice to each other. Love Martha (writing), Lucy and Riley devil dog.

  • Hi Dr.Pia and Minnow, Thank you so much for these beautiful photos and comments about spring and I love it all! Everyone of those sweethearts in these photos look so happy for spring to be here! Our 1st spring day yesterday was extremely windy and rainy and the wind almost knocked me over and I was so lucky that Mom protected me! My Mom is such a dog and cat lover and she just saw Martha's latest blog about some Frenchies that need lots of help because they had been treated poorly. They are now with The French Bulldog Village and are getting lots of help! Please check it out and help them if you can! Sure hope all of you have another great day! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Hello Dr.Pia, What a cute picture of Pickles! I love them all and #13 looks just like my Boobala did..wish I could dress up Kitty like this, see just got a bigger bell on her so it will warn birds that she is coming, I hated putting it on her collar, but I just don't want her to kill birds. I was surprised that she did not object to this larger louder version.
I think that photo of the greyhound is stunning!
Well dear Daily Wager ~ Glue Squaders I hope all will be better for those that need special attention.
And I Kitty say to, Ruby, Kirby, Maddox, Missy Chow, JD and ALL the rest of you here Hello and have a great day! Meeuwww ;-)

    delia & Kitty =^. .^=

  • It is so far from feeling like spring that we are all like Rogers Hornsby, just looking out the window and hoping.
It was swell to see Miss Martha talking about Frenchie rescue today; there are so many dogs in need, and Frenchies are certainly no exception. Although Kathy FirstMama who raised us (not to mention my NowMama) is involved with a different rescue than Suzanne FirstMama who helped Francesca Baby get to Miss Martha. Hey, have you guys heard about Lenny the Lentil? He's a wee little French Bulldog with a cleft palate who has to be fed with a dropper and syringe. He was abandoned when he was just 2 days old. I think he'll be 6 weeks this week. He is very cute, even with his poor messed up nose. You should look him up online. Mom would post the link, but hahahahahahaha!!! she doesn't know how.
    A bientot!

  • Hello Dr.Pia, Kirby Bear, Maddox, Riley, Martha,Lucy, Delia, Sweet Kitty, Ruby Tuesday and all my glue squad buddies,
Nice spring pictures and captions today. We are certainly ready for spring time!
    HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY RUBY DEAR!!!!!
Maddox, Martha is thinking of warm deck time too and Riley out in the garden. We have seed packets at the ready. Snow covered ground but Missy Chow in photo #8 looked wonderful today!!
Kitty, that is nice you do not mind wearing a bell collar. I, Jimmy, am indoors all the time so do not wear anything but my persian fur coat. Rebel, hope you are feeling better today. Zoe, are you watching March madness? We are in the ESPN tournament and following the bracket action closely for basketball.
So get ready to shoot hoops or to play ball!!!
James Dean the basketball NCAA loving cat

  • Hi Dr. Pia,
Sure do love these pic. I heard Spring had arrived. Somebody is going to have to prove it to me though. I got a good chuckle when I saw the last picture although I think I could use that lamb costume today to help me stay warm.
It's sunny and the sky is blue, what more could a guy want. I think there is a warmy, sunshiny step waiting for me to take an afternoon nap on.
Though maybe I read about Precious today.
Til tomorrow, have a great day everybody.
    Your pal,
    Rebel
