Frenchie Hide And Seek

Posted by Francesca

Who likes to play hide and seek, or hide and go seek?  It's a good game to play every now and then.  No one knows how the game got started, but it's probably been around since the beginning of time.  All we know is it's a lot of fun and a great way to keep those hunting skills honed.

My back is so itchy, but nothing that a rough door mat can't cure.

Ahhh, that feels so good and the sun is warm on my belly.

I wonder where Sharkey went? She was just here a few minutes ago.

3 I wonder where Sharkey went? She was just here a few minutes ago.

I'll just trot off to find her.

4 I'll just trot off to find her.

I wonder if she went this way?

5 I wonder if she went this way?

No sign of her here.

6 No sign of her here.

Onward!

7 Onward!

Sharkey! Are you under there?

8 Sharkey! Are you under there?

Where could she be?

9 Where could she be?

Sharkey, you've hidden very well. Ollie, ollie, oxen free!

Here I am, Francesca! I wasn't hiding from you.

11 Here I am, Francesca! I wasn't hiding from you.

But actually, hide and seek sounds like a fun thing to do.

Why don't you go and hide and I'll be it.

Should I go this way?

No, I'll go this way! I know the perfect hiding place.

15 No, I'll go this way! I know the perfect hiding place.

Ready or not, here I come! Now, where did she go? I've got to find her because I cannot succumb to ollie, ollie, oxen free.

  • ..wow..haven't heard anyone say ollie ollie oxen free in years...I used to like hide and seek, too..I helped Lucinda make cranberry-orange scones..yummy..and now it is late and I must zip outdoors and patrol about and call it a nite..over and out, Love, Cora-Belle

  • Hi girls,
I have my own version of Hide and Seek. I hide the biscuits and then I find them. But now I just learned there is an ox running free so I have to be more careful where I hide them
    Hehehehehehe
Kirby, when do you get your lump removed? You will have to let us Know so we can all send you good thoughts that day. Good news about the itching. Missy Chow, good news on your report. Cora-Belle, don't worry about no stinking vest. If Lucinda goes to town to get material though, let us know right away so we can stop her some how.
Well all you Glue Squad maniacs I think I talked myself into the hide the biscuit game but first I am going to check to make sure the ox is not loose.
    Later gang,
    Maddox

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Daddy and I used to play hide and seek all the time. He would hide and then I would try to find him. He would jump out in an attempt to scare me but that didn’t work; chows are fearless you know. I’d show him just how fearless I was and we would roll around on the floor. I don’t know why we stopped doing that. Oh yeah, both of are getting too old to roll on the floor. I have to go to the vet’s on Friday. The spot isn’t that big; about the size of the end of a pencil eraser.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Girls & Glue Squad Buddies,
I love that hide and seek game. Mom and I play all the time. My crate, that we now call my clubhouse, often has little biscuits waiting in it, although I never have to go in there at all. In fact the door is no longer on it. Your girls could have a giant game of hide and seek and have all the cats involved too. That could last all day and night. I am glad the Chiweenies got to stop in the other day, Cora Belle. And guess what, we got a dusting of snow---just enough to butt vroom when Weston got home and show off. Everyone have a GEM of a day.
    Love & licks,
    Ruby

  • Good morning ladies,
I love to play hide & seek! I play with the grandchildren, Mimi & Papa and at work with Jeremy or Neil.
Well, Kirby, I sure am glad the medicine is helping with your itching, I know how that goes. Don't worry about Friday, you'll be sleeping & I'm sure everything will be just fine.
It was raining while we were driving to work & now it's snowing! We didn't expect snow til this afternoon.
Old Man Winter keeps hanging around..........
    Keep warm everybody,
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • F,S,&GK+ Glue Squad, How fun to see you playing that old fashioned game hide and seek! Francesca, you look healthier every day now and how great you can now play with Sharkey or GK outside at the farm! Both of you looked so cute in these photos! I haven't had a partner since Cricket went to Heaven, so I don't play hide and seek any more! Maybe I'll get Mom to play with me! Say hi to buddy GK! Cora-Belle and Maddox, it was fun to hear from you again early this morning! And Missy Chow, glad to hear from you at 9:39 last night-glad you are OK and all of the rest of you buddies I read about late yesterday! Sure hope all of you buddies are doing well and will check back later! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • :-( SNOW!!!!! arghhhhhh! STOP! OK I got that out of my system...ollie, ollie, oxen free...just had to get that out too ;-)

Can't get motivated to even write or talk...I know I seem down and I'm not the only one...Kitty is getting tired of this as well. Hubby is suppose to go to Tennessee for golfing in a few weeks, hope this 'you know what' stops by then.

Everyone, please be safe...and I do hope it will be a delightful day of sorts.

Such a playful feel to it..

My two favorite pictures: Frannie 'scritching' her back and Frannie poking her nose under the burlap! :)

Sun is out now in NH....brings a smile to my face...

However, a snow storm is on the horizon...

    Have a super Tuesday! :)

  • Hi Girls & Glue Squad, You girls sure know how to have fun with one another. So glad you were able to enjoy the nice weather. Hide & seek, I think Mom & Dad plays that with me but I didn't know what it was called, they hide but I find them no matter what; actually I like to follow them, does that count??Well, we may be having another storm in the next day or two, but maybe it will be only rain this time, we can only hope. Ruby, you have you very own clubhouse, do you have a secret code for it? Kirby, glad the itching is much better. Hope all my buddies are doing well. Hope to have early computer time in the morning; Mom is home and maybe if I give her my big brown eye look, I can post earlier.

    Till next time,
    Missy Chow
    xoxo
