Another Stinky Stink Bug!!!

Posted by F&S

So there we were in our blog studio, minding our own Frenchie business, when another one of those horrendous and ugly stink bugs came out of nowhere!  It's just amazing and quite creepy how these things just show up.  We felt compelled to teach it a lesson.

  • Nothing like frolicking with a stink bug on a Friday!

I'm not sure I've seen one in person. Maybe that's a 'good thing'! :)

I could put up a sign that reads "No Stink Bugs Allowed". Wonder if that would work?

Finally, a snow free weekend! Hooray! However, rumblings that a storm may pass by early Monday morning. Boo Hiss!

Happy Friday to all, even the stink bug! :)

  • Good Morning F & S

I hate stink bugs they are so gross!! It's amazing how they show up in the strangest places. And how do they get into the cabinets? Mom found one in the pantry - YUK!!

Happy Birthday to my buddy Ruby I hope you have a great birthday and get lots of treats :)

It's very sad at my house my sister Precious went to heaven on Wednesday. I miss her so much :(

    Zoe

  • Hello Girls & Glue Squad Buddies,
Stink bugs are sure around our house lots. I help Mom find them and we put them in plants. The protein might be beneficial however, like Francesca seems to think. Maybe not, I am a pretty picky eater. You girls keep doing a good job on stink bug patrol though. I will too.

Now for my dear girlfriend Zoe, and her family, we here at our house are very sad for your loss of Precious. I know you and she were very close Zoe, so cuddle with T-Bone and Sophie as you are all missing her. Give Mom and Dad extra bunches of kisses and lots of "cc" time. Precious is with so many of our loved ones like the Warrior Prince Basil and Herman the Cat. No more pain. We love you little buddy.

I thank you all for my special birthday wishes. I have 2 hats and lots of biscuits made. The power went out last night so the breads (Pumpkin and Banana) will be baked today with less sugar for me. Hamburgers tonight, and you know where Ruby will be getting her birthday burger. And then 6-8 inches of snow is in the forecast. Who could wish for a better birthday, forever family and FOREVER THE GLUE SQUAD. Yahoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
    Love and licks,
    Ruby

  • Good morning ladies,

  • Hello F&S, Glue Squadders and the lone Stink Bug:
We have never seen a stink bug and we do live in the country. Perhaps its too cold up here for them. We get a lot of earwigglers though, and they are just as gross, with their pinchers always at the ready. Our cat buddies eat them, we call them crunchie bugs, quite the treat.
Zoe, we are so sorry about Precious, our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. It is never easy losing a family member and everyone shares in your pain. Precious is just over that Rainbow Bridge, feeling good, barking up a storm and playing with Basil.
Ruby, best wishes on your special day, you are 2! Have the best birthday ever girlfriend, sounds like everything is aligning in the universe to make your day everything you would like it to be. Snow is not the greatest thing, but we know you love it, so as long as it goes away in a few days thats OK too!
Well, not much happening here, cold and grey today, they say the weekend might be a little better. We can hope! Love to all and have the best weekend ever ..... Martha (writing), Lucy and Riley devil dog.

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Well, so much for that stink bug. Today is Friday the end of another week. When I think back on this week I can see Monday, Tuesday; wait what am I thinking? It appears that I’m not thinking at all today. Guess it was all the excitement from yesterday. Had a visit from someone I hadn’t seen in over a year. She lives in Wyoming; Green River to be exact. I don’t think the river is really green at all. It’s because of the green grass growing along the river banks. Funny how names are giver. When I was little, I sucked things up so they called me Kirby; like the vacuum cleaner. Now if I had just left those crumbs on the floor, I could be called Toast. Get it? Toast, crumbs on the floor. Better stop while I’m ahead. Have a good, and safe, weekend all.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Francesca,Sharkey,Birthday girl Ruby,Kirby, Zoe, Missy Chow,Lucy and all my glue squad buddies,
Zoe, we are so sorry for your loss. Take good care of yourself and know that Precious is at peace now, barking and running around with our dear Herman the cat and Prince basil on the rainbow bridge. We are always here for you to speak to. Hugs to you and your family.
Francesca, are you sure that is the protein for the day??? I chase stink bugs but do not ingest the ugly insects. You are brave to eat one!! Nice pictures of the hunt too.
Kirby Bear, were you really named after a vacuum cleaner?? Maybe an explorer named Kirby with all your traveling and adventures.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBY!!! Have a great time with your Mom Lynn and a gem of a party and weekend!!!
Dudley, we think you are sweet to remember everyone. Riley, do you play ball too or kong?? Abby wants to know. Kitty, have fun this weekend as we welcome spring!! • Ladies it's so good to see you two being yourselves playing and teasing the stink bugs in the blog studio. Wonderful way to go into the weekend.

Sweet Zoe, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful sister Precious. I am sending you and family prayers and good thoughts. Your sister is no longer in pain and she is frolicking in the grass and sunshine with our pal Warrior Prince Basil, Ambassador of the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure Basil is making sure she's making new friends with Herman the Cat, Tasha, Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow, and all of our DW friends that have moved on. You, T-Bone, and Sofie take good care of your Mom and Dad this weekend.

Happy Birthday Rub Gem! Two years old and full of stuff and mischief! Enjoy your beautiful life and family. You deserve all of the happiness in the world.

I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend. Hugs and love to all!

  • Zoe, we are so sad you lost our friend. The Rainbow Bridge is just going to have to open a Glue Squad Auxillary since we know that Warrior Prince Basil and my sisty wee Princess Demi Boobala will want to help everyone stay in touch There too.
Happy Happy Birthday Birthday, Ruby; sounds like you are having a great couple of days for your couple of birthdays!
Francesca Baby, I don't know if you want to eat that stink bug. But if you do, it will be proof that you are related to the late Princess Demi Boobala, as she used to take on Japanese Beetles and frogs, even when they made her foam at the mouth.
    A bientot!

  • ...stink bugs..yummy!..Happy birthday dear Ruby..of course I will act naughty for you all day!!...Zoe, I am so sorry about Precious, but I am sure all my buddies.. • Hi Girls & Glue Squad, Another stinky bug, yuck...You girls certainly know how to keep an eye on them, sure hope no other show their heads while both of you are around.

Zoe, so sorry to hear about your sister Precious. Please extend my condolences to your family and give Mom lots of c/c/ time this weekend. No more pain, and as previously posted, she is at the Rainbow Bridge with all of her other friends, Warrior Prince Basil, Herman the Cat, my big brothers, Ming & Keebler.

Happy Birthday, Ruby Gem, I know you will have a special weekend with Mom & Dad and your family. You have one or two terrific celebrations this weekend.

On another note, Mom wants to talk to that little critter who pops his head in February, last night's snow fall has melted already today and we don't want any more snow, pleeeeese! It's not pretty anymore.

Hi to all my friends and wishing everyone a wonderful springlike weekend.
