Oh, bother! Here come the Frenchies. All they ever want to do is show off or annoy us!

That's right, Vivaldi. They always seem to show up at precisely the wrong moment. I mean, this is our 'down' time!

  • Hi everyone,
I did just that. I enjoyed this blog. Francesca can really move to the beat. Those cats just don't get it. I bet Kitty and James Dean will like the performance. Speaking of performance Franny, you better do a great one and show those cats, the donks, the horses, chickens, canaries, Martha and everyone at the farm and all of us Gkue Squad members that you know how to get better quicker than lightning. You go girl. We are all behind you.
Rebel, how are you doing since your eye surgery? Better I hope. And Zoe, how is your belly? Is it still craving TP?
I will be back in the morning to see how everyone is and I hope we get an update on Francesca.
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Welcome Home Francesca !!!
    Waa Huu
Karen just saw Martha's tweet saying that she is back home, no brain tumor. She does have a bulging disc however and will be confined. Take things easy right now Franny. Let Sharkey and GK do the chores around the farm till you are all healed up.
    Love,
    Maddox

  • Hello Girls & Glue Squad Buddies,
It is great fun for me to see the past blogs since I am new in town so to speak, but....I was hoping to hear how our dear Franny is doing. Know that I am sending prayers and crossed paws for a speedy recovery.

This break dancing thing is going to catch on around my house. I already have some great moves in yoga, so the dance thing is just a little more bounce. Yahoo!! Yesterday was great fun for me with helping Dad on my new fence. This will probably be going on for a month I hear, so I am just getting started with learning my supervising skills. This supervisor had quite a few time outs, but...we won't discuss the down side, just the new learned things. CORA BELLE, I know you will be proud. Those darn sirens I go nuts and am scared of, I learned how to deal with them---howl. Dad never laughed so hard, but at least I am not trying to jump the fence. And then a major decision was made about Mom's beautiful new planters Dad made several years ago--this will be the year of the rock garden, no plants. I dug them up to China while supervising. Oh well, you win some, you loose some. Excited to hear everyones' plans for the weekend--just fencing here.LOL!!!!
Have a GEM of a day and weekend.
    Love & licks,
    Ruby

  • Good Morning F & S

Franny hope you are feeling better soon - what the heck happened???

Love the break dance moves I have some similiar moves myself :)

Friday :) I hope mom decides to take off Monday and spend the day with me. I get shorted a day this weekend because tomorrow is a SPA day - she is taking her mom to get pampered all day. That is one event I don't care to join. Anything that has the word spa/bath/brush/clippers - you can keep it.

I'm home today with the cleaning lady. She drives me crazy!! I have to spend the morning in my crate because I try and bite the vacuum cleaner and mops then I grab the papertowel roll and run - no wonder she doesn't like me ;) Oh and did I mention when she walks in the door I pee on her feet :) And to think she still comes back - mom must pay her well.

Have a great weekend my friends !!

    Zoe

  • Hi all,
This is a great encore performance. Don't we all love to "do the dance" especially in the warm sunlight coming through the window.
Mimi has given me my pain meds, so I'm about ready to zonk out. I'm staying home from work again today. Monday I see Dr Becky and the collar come off. That will be a happy time for sure.
Hope everybody is doing o.k. today. I'll check in later to see what's happening.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello All:
Firstly, our thoughts are with Franny as she convalesces - we hope she gets better soon. We will watch the site for updates. The Westminster Dog Show is coming up soon - is GK going to be there this year? We saw a bit on the TV about two bassett hounds who live in our area - they are going. Riley says he'd love to be there as well, he's got show dog aspirations, that's for sure!
Sorry we didn't get a chance to post yesterday, it was a busy day - Mom and Dad were cleaning like fiends because someone came and put a For Sale sign on our property. Mom seemed to be expecting it, but we surely did put a loud warning up when we saw someone in the front yard! Now the house has to be clean all the time, I really don't understand it, why would you want to be so clean?? Mom says everything has to be neat and tidy all the time now until it sells, but I don't think Lucy and Riley really care much. They are country dogs, but I lived in the city before we came out here. The exciting part will be to move back to the city where there is lots of stuff going on all the time, Mom says we need lots of greenspace close for walks and a big fenced yard to keep us safe. Just think about all the dogs we can bark at!
More snow last night and really cold here now, but that's OK, Lucy and Riley were running around this morning playing reindeer games where they both stand on their hind legs and lean on each other - such craziness so early in the morning. Well, that's it for now, we love to hear what's going on in everyone's world, talk to you all soon, and everyone send warm thoughts to Franny.
Bounces from Beardies - Martha (with help from Lucy and Riley).

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Yep I like to do that back thing too. Now that I’m older, I have to watch out while doing that because my hip joint will sort of freeze up a little. When I stand up I can’t put my foot on the floor. I have to lay down for a few minutes until it goes back into place. Sometimes my Mommy will rub my hip which helps a whole lot. Like my Daddy always says, “Old age isn’t for sissies.” He should know. Hehehehehe Better run now.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Ah, I sure do hope you'll be able to bust some moves like that after you get all healed up from your 'strange malady' Francesca Baby! You know, I'm quite the dancer too, I even hung out with the Radio City Rockettes one year. My eye-high kicks are awesome!

  • Speedy recovery Miss Frannie pants..

    We love and miss you!

  • ..whew..glad to hear Franny is home, rest up my little buddy..and you, too, Rebel..Could not believe Lucinda left me with James for hours when she went to the dr. yesterday..(I love James, but we are a pack and should all be together)..then today off she went again..she better stay home tomarrow!..it is cold and frosty here..the driveway is super slick, I can't walk down it..so I stick to the grass..well, everybody have a good evening ..take care, love, Cora-Belle

  • So cute! Very glad to hear that you are on the mend, Francesca!

  • Hello Bartok,Vivaldi, Martha, Riley,Lucy,Jake, Dudley and all my glue squad friends-
Abby must have taken the same dancing class as beautiful Franny, she has the same moves after she takes off her fleece coat at night. I think it looks great, yawn. By the way. persians and felines have a few yoga moves of our own!
Hope everyone is doing well and wish Francesca a very speedy recovery. Mom took Abby to the duck pond today- Monday even though its cold. She fed her duck friends. Snow coming back tonight.
Excited to watch the special inauguration tv today. Only 16 Presidents have served two terms. President Roosevelt served three terms.
Stay safe all and hope Franny feels better real soon!
Purrrs to all, especially Dudley, ruby and Miss Kitty,
James Dean the persian boy cat.
