We Decorated Our Blog Studio For The Holidays!

Posted by F&S

We realized that there was one more place on the property that needed to be decorated for the holidays and we decided to take the project on all by ourselves.  We needed some cheer in our Blog Studio.  Martha has been talking to or friend,  Richard The Cat from The Home Depot, over Twitter a lot lately and we hear that he's also taking on holiday decorating projects.

Maybe we should consider sleeping here and wait for Santa to arrive. We hope Richard The Cat fared just as well with his holiday decorating.

  • Hello girls,
What a great job you did with the decorations. Perfect job. I just wish that GK would be more helpful to you girl's. What did the blog staff say about it? I bet they were pleasantly surprised. Just out of curiosity, was the inside of the barn decorated? I bet the horses and the donks would like that
Rain, rain, rain. I don like getting my feet wet and I can't lay on the deck if it is raining. I guess I will go back to bed and see if it is raining when I wake up. I hope not
    I'll be back
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Hello Girls & Glue Squad Buddies,
Well the excitement is brewing. What a very creative and beautiful job you did on the blog studio. To have a studio, that is so cool. If I think my house is a castle, then your farm must be a town. I am also getting soooooooo excited to read everybodies letters to Santa and see all the photos tomorrow. Remember it isn't too late to get things in today.

Dad and I are on nursing detail in between my games in the snow. Yahooooooooo!!! A snow day. I have a hard time staying still very long, but when I do I am on taking care of Mom detail. She was gone 4 hours yesterday and now she has "New Monia." Lots of rest and meds to be well for when the big guy in the red suit comes. Cora Belle and Maddox I will miss you tomorrow, but I know the holidays are a busy time. Oh, and Baby Favor that is a great idea to give to the needy animals. My people brother, Weston took a bunch of leather, hand tooled pet collars to the giving tree at our local pet store. Mom gave all her dog biscuit earnings from the craft show to the French Bulldog Rescue Network, in memory of the Warrior Prince. Have a GEM of a day.
    Love & licks,
    Ruby

  • Good Morning F & S

What a beautiful tree looks like you are all ready for Santa.

We have a real tree and the needles are SO sharp I won't even get next to it to chew the lights this year. Mom had to wear gloves to decorate it - some kind of blue spruce but it doesn't look blue to me.

Ruby take good care of your mom I hope she feels better soon.

I can't chat long mom is running late for work so I think I'll just go back to bed.

    Zoe

  • What a lovely post today girls!

I too have a tinsel tree. Mine is vintage..ala aluminum from the 1960's! In the past I've used a color wheel (also vintage) alongside it to shine pretty colors on the tree.

Now all you need is a plate of cookies for the man in the red suit! :)

    Have a wonderful Wednesday..

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Boy you are sure lucky by getting a tree to decorate all by yourselves. I only got to help a little with our tree here. Daddy said that I wasn’t putting the decorations up high enough. Let him have legs that are only 12 inches long and see how high he will be able to place the decorations. I did see him on a step ladder a few times; so there you go. I don’t do ladders. I keep my feet on the ground except when I run up, or down, the stairs. Then some of my feet don’t even touch the steps. I can do three steps at a time and fly like the wind. It makes me tired just talking about it.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hi F,S,&GK+ Glue Squad, You beautiful girls sure did a great job decorating your blog studio and the results looked marvelous just like you do!!! Mom and I went to Home Depot last year and got the same beautiful decorations made by Martha and I had lots of fun, too! I'm sure GK helped you but he couldn't climb up on the tables like you do! Hope you are having fun! Maddox, I feel the same way about the wetness and the snow we have had! Ruby, I so proud of you for taking care of Mom Lynn and my prayers are with her to get better real soon! Zoe, I remember seeing a blue spruce tree and they are sharpy and beautiful! Gail, I want to wish you a delightful birthday on December 24th! Hope you have 2 wonderful days in a row! Hope to hear from the rest of you buddies later and will check back! Hope you are all having fun! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Good morning ladies,
So, pretty, the tree I mean. I think we need some of those snowflake lights for our house. It was so nice of you to decorate the blog house. To all of us it is almost the most important building on the farm!
Did you decorate for the donkeys and horses and chickens?
Gail, Mimi has very fond memories of driving up the lane to her Grandparents house one Christmas Eve and in the picture window was an aluminum tree with the color light wheel. It was so sparkly. Grandpa must not have liked it though 'cause they had it for only 1 year. That was the year Mimi's parents had a pink flocked tree. That was only for 1 year, too. LOL
We have a blue spruce outside with blue lights on it. It grew so much this year that we had to buy 3 extra strings. It sure is an owwwie tree to work with but so very beautiful. I bet it is beautiful in your house, too DudleyDo.
    Great day to all.
    Your pal,
    Rebel
Ruby, we're so sorry to hear Lynn has New Monia. Be the best girl you can be, that helps Moms get well faster.
Hey, Professor, I don't like getting my feet wet either! I'm litte enough that I can do my stuff under a bench by the front door. I think I smell snow coming our way. Not too crazy about that either. I guess I'm just a sunny day kind of guy.

  • Hello Francesca, Sharkey,Maddox, kirby Bear, Zoe, RUBY and all my glue squad friends-
What a pretty tinsel tree! Good job Franny and Sharkey. You have been working very hard decorating all these trees. Did the cats decorate too? What has Empress Tang been up to? Maybe she is waiting for Santa to bring catnip??
We cannot wait for the Xmas lists and photos tomorrow. Abby has been actually good because the holidays are coming up soon. Zoe, be careful by that blue spruce tree. Maddox, we finally have sunshine today so I hope it is DRY by you so you can snooze on the deck. Dudley, hugs for you. Lynn, feel better real soon. Cora belle, just keep in mind Abby thought you would like a different vest for xmas, did not realize you don't want any.
Kitty, your Christmas photo was wonderful!
Missy Chow, hope you too have great weather today.
Hugs and purrrrs for all my glue squad buddies- James Dean the persian boy cat

  • p.s. I'm not following Richard the Cat on Twitter! :)

  • Franny and Sharkey what great 'sales dogs' you are! bet mommie martha appreciated that. Very cute tree! :-)

We are expecting a terrible snow storm, just hope it ends before our flight out...all we need it to be stuck in an airport during Christmas eve...I'm getting stressed out just thinking about it :-(

Glue Squad Friends and all our dear fur-friends be careful and stay healthy and happy.
Lynn my dear, get well soon and enjoy the Holidays.

    Hugs to All,
    delia & Kitty =^. .^=
