  • Those were such nice pictures and words, Dr. Pia. Mom's favorite was the first one. Roxy was almost named Zelda because Mom is a big fan of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald and her writings.

  • Hello everyone,
I see today is quotes day. I think I will go lay out on the deck and think of a quote and when I do, I will come back on the DW. But if you don't hear from me you know I fell asleep on the deck thinking about things
    Hehehehehehe
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
And hello to you too Dr. Pia. So today is quotes day. By now everyone knows my quote; “Cats are for chasing.” I also quote people at times. Such as, “Go ahead, make my day.” I use that quote along with a low growl. Works most of the time. When it doesn’t, you can bet I am ready to back it up. Now don’t get me wrong here. I’m not a mean dog but I don’t back down to anyone or thing. That’s part of being a Chow. Can’t wait to see more quotes today.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Dr. Pia & all my Glue Squad Buddies,
These are great photos of furry friends and the quotes so true. There needs to be a huge book, bigger than a dictionary with these photos and quotes. There would be a lot less problems in the world I think. Maddox, you are a thinker and I will check back for your quote. I loved your idea for painting the burlap with flowers that you had yesterday. And poor Kirby with that thing on, how do you do it Kirby. Aren't you going BA NER CO? Abby, you are really clever to find your medicine in food. But isn't medicine a good thing? Too bad it doesn't come in duck biscuits. Next to my Mom's biscuits these things are worth stealing, I mean getting lots of them when you are good. It was nice to meet you Baby Favor yesterday. I hope I get to see a picture of you---are you on Zoe's Mom's e-mail list? I watched all day almost outside with this new in and out doggie door. I watched squirrels and birds and mom said snow was coming, but I never saw any. Then she tells me, this weekend Ruby. O.k. I will watch today again. Also, I am getting really excited when people come into the house. Like when Mom returned from her doc appt. or Weston comes home. I hear this is how it is done, and I knew just to do it---race and wag. Have a "GEM" of a day all.
    Love & licks,
    Ruby

  • Dr. Pia, These are Adorable....everyone of those photos and sayings! I especially like #3 #7 sayings and Kitty Loooved the #7 picture!
The one thing I have noticed in rescue and adoption places, including local photos in the paper of pets needing homes, is the amount of Pit-bulls or Pit-bull mixes that are out there in need...it's unbelievable so many.

I'm early this morning because I have to go to an art class with an artist friend.
So everyone here have a Happy Day!

    delia & Kitty =^. .^=

    The End

  • Hi Dr. Pia and Minnow, My Mom and I just love all 9 of these fantastic photos and we look at them over and over again! Those babies are beautiful and we would love to hug every one of them! Was so great to hear from Baby Favor,Maddox, Kirby, Ruby, and Delia this morning and loved all of your thoughts!!!!! Maddox, sure hope you enjoy being on the deck and do have a great nap! It's kind of cold here so I will nap inside! Can't wait to hear from Rebel, Sonya, Abby, Gail and anyone else who likes to comment on the Daily Wag!!!!+ Hope you all have a great day and weekend! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Good morning Dr. Pia,
I just knew Kitty would love #7! I like #9, those two look like the best of playtime buddies.
You know Delia, we've noticed a lot of pit bulls up for adoption, too. Mimi says there was a time that there were a lot of chihuahuas, too. I know I wouldn't like to be carried around in a purse! We used to like to watch "It's Me or the Dog" with Victoria. Boy, there sure were some dog owners that were without a clue.
Anyway, I digress, back on subject...remember that a friend knows all about you but likes you anyway.
    Til tomorrow.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello Dr.Pia, Meditative Maddox,Rebel, Baby Favor, RUBY, and all my glue squad buddies,
Very nice quotes and pictures today. My favorite is number two, James Dean likes number seven the best.
He is upstairs and helped mom finish a pretty annivesary card for her parents. It has a special MS ribbon on it,heart charm and she used decoupage to make the roses and antique looking paper card. The roses look like the ones on the wallpaper in "Fried Green Tomtoes", lots of great quotes from that movie. Chilling quote- "the secret is in the sauce" about the barbecue and my favorite story about "angels walking around the earth dressed up like people". I think many of the glue squad are angels to their pets and such wonderful friends.
Hugs, woofs and purrs to all my glue squad friends- ABBY and craft busy James Dean

  • ..thanks Maddox for the great quote..Lucinda is taping it on the fridge for me!..and Rebel, you are so right about friends..all my doggie pals have valuable things to say..and I, like my pal Kirby, can and will back up a low growl if you continue to behave badly..there is a reason we blue heelers have a reputation!..yikes, that makes me sound like one tough girl..but in my younger days I was a force to be reckoned with..ask the outdoor critters! and any unwanted visitors...hmm..I hear talk of mochas and maple bars...later, love, Cora-Belle

  • Why Ms. Lucinda, thank you for taping my quote on your fridge. I am very honored. And one m

  • Big fat paws AGAIN. Sorry, the rest of my last comment to Ms. Lucinda is this:
And one more thing while I have your attention, I think Cora-Belle is one very special girl and I think you and James are such kind and loving people and I am so very very happy to be in the same squad as you, the Glue Squad. Now, about those maple bars........
    Hehehehehe
    Love,
    Maddox

I love all nine of the pics and sayings, esp. number one of Piggie with my brother and number six of Piggie with my niece. This post just makes my heart sing.
