You're right, Sharkey. Who would want to go out there when it's so gray and uninviting?

It's pouring rain and there are ice-cold puddles everywhere to freeze our little feet.

Why Sharkey! These are beautiful amaryllis flowers, whose magnificent blooms really help to brighten up the long, dreary days of winter!

  • Hello Ladies,
Funny the weather on your pictures is what we are having right now. Lots of snow with sleet mixed in. We don't have any flowers though. Your flowers are ao bright, they cheer you right up.
Karen is watching an NCIS marathon. It was on all day and it is on till 4am. I don't think she is going to last. Her eyes are getting g heavy and her head keeps bobbing around. She looks like one of those bobble head dolls. Don't tell her I said that. Hehehehehehe.
I will check back in the morning to see what you maniacs are up to.
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • ...Lucinda has amaryllis..I love them, they brighten up the house...must get in bed, tired.. had a really busy day..beachcombing, maple bars..will check back later to see what all my buddies are up too...over and out, Cora-Belle p.s. wasn't that cool that Dr. Pia wrote glue squad in the sand for us!!!!

  • Good morning all,
The flowers sure do brighten up the house in the winter. It's always so dreary when the Christmas tree is gone. Ours doesn't come down til after Jan 1 (actually, when Mimi & Papa feel better after New Years Eve). I wonder how long it takes to put everything away at Martha's? I wonder is F,S & GK help. I help by staying out of the way! LOL
Today I'm wondering if Lynn's new monia is going away and Karen & Mammy Jean, sure hope you ladies are feeling better, too.
    Til tomorrow.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello Ladies & Glue Squad Buddies,
Wow, oh wow, am I glad you are doing these postings from the past. Ruby gets to catch up. Yahoo!!! Mom's amaryllis in the greenhouse didn't bloom yet, so now I can see their beauty. They are as big as you girls. So very pretty. Not everyone was back yesterday. Still resting from Christmas I think. My rest day and no play helped my paw. I am not limping now. Still to rest today.Dad doesn't know what to do with Mom--getting worse and worse even on the meds. Maybe he should crate her---hehehehehe! Maddox I hope Karen and Mammy Jean are doing better and Gail I am so sorry to not have wished you a Happy Birthday. Did you get good stuff like nylabones? Kirby, I love the snow too, and these sissy snows we are getting of just a few inches, don't cut it--more please! Rebel, Happy sounds like a fun new friend, and Missy Chow, before I had to rest, our backyard was like a giant paw print. Jan and Dudley, all I can say is you are like a Paul Bunyan duo, chopping wood. Be very careful. Cora Belle, that is so nice of Lucinda to give the raccoons food. Can't do that here, mom says some have had bad disease in the past. Did you hear from the Chiweenies at Christmas? I bet they miss you lots. Well everyone else, I need to hear how your Christmas was---Zoe, Abby, James Dean, Chloe,Baby Favor,Pam from California, Sonya. Now I know Delia and Kitty are visiting the granddoggies. Catch me up all. Have a GEM of a day.
    Love and Licks,
    Ruby

  • Hi F,S,&GK+ Glue Squad, Thanks again for sharing a favorite blog like this one which is beautiful! I love these photos of you wonderful, lovely girls and seeing those Amaryllis plants in the house is outstanding! Mom hasn't had any for a while and she might get some real soon to brighten up our house! I miss reading my Glue Squad buddies comments this morning and will check back later to read them! Sure hope all of you are having a great day! The rain is finally about to go away by tomorrow in our area and we could get sunshine! Can't wait! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
I remember that time when you had all that snow; I was really envious of you. It did turn colder last night. It was way down to 36 degrees, but still no snow. The wind really did blow last night, but it’s better today. What I need is about three days in the snow; maybe about a foot of it would do. It won’t be long before the tree comes down. A sure sign that the holidays are over. Guess I’ll be watching football today with my Daddy. He said that the games on New Years Day shouldn't be too exciting because most teams are not evenly matched. I didn’t know what he was talking about so I just nodded my head. Got to go with the flow sometimes.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Francesca, Sharkey, Beachcomber Cora belle, Ruby, kirby Bear, Missy chow, Dudley and all my buddies-

Abby has a beautiful new fleece bed from Lynn and lots of new toys and poshy biscuits. I have a wonderful huge stuffed white rat toy that has alittle slit pocket in its belly for catnip!!
Its great! My own white rat friend.
Mom is going out to the garage work shop to make more metal pendants so its cat nap time for me!
Getting ready for New Years glue squad? Hey Maddox, maybe the glue squad should have a NewYear's resolution day?
Love, peace and purrrrs- James dean the persian cat
