  • Hello Dr. Pia,
Cano should be a model for Martha's products that are sold at Pet Smart. Cano is very photogenic. I hope Cano finds a forever home. Please keep us updated about a home for Cano.
I am going back to bed. I have to get up early. I am going to shows this weekend. I like going once in a while cause I miss seeing a lot of people that became my friends while I was out showing on a regular basis. Abram, who just turned 9 this week was at shows last week as a veteran. He did awesome. Speaking of Abram, Karen gave him to a friend of hers 7 years ago because the lady lost her husband and her children were all married and lived in other states. Karen thought he would be a good companion for her. About two months ago, the lady passed away unexpectedly and he laid with her on the floor for 20 hours until a neighbor found them. He did not want to leave the lady. How is that for loyalty. The lady's daughter called Karen and she went and got Abram right away. She could have just said she couldn't take him cause she has no room but that is not like her. So, Abram is back with us and doing great. He is such a good chow. He is my uncle. We look very much alike. I guess handsome runs in our genes. Hehehehehehe
I will check in with everyone tomorrow.
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
And hello to you too Dr. Pia. More good pictures today from you. Maddox, your mom, Karen, is the greatest. She is sort of like my Mommy. She has been feeding, of all things, a stray kitten. She says that she is going to take it to a friend of hers; we’ll wait and see on this one. I keep telling her I need something to chase everyday but she keeps telling me that this isn’t one to chase. The squirrel population is down to only two of them. I think my neighbor, who doesn’t like any animals at all, has put out poisoned peanuts again. Don’t know what else it could be with eight squirrels disappearing at one time. I would like to teach him a lesson or two; good swift bite in the seat of his pants would help.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hi Dr. Pia & Minnow, Thanks again for these latest, delightful photos of these wonderful animals that do look like celebrities! Every one of them is outstanding! I certainly hope that sweet, little Cano does find a perfect home to make him extremely happy! You do such a nice job on every blog you present! Hope you, Minnow and your family have a great weekend! Sonya, love your nice comments! Delia, your comments did show up and enjoyed hearing from you! Hug Kitty for us! Abby, you must have had fun running and jumping in the dog park! Bet that felt great! Maddox, have fun going to a dog show and glad Abram is living with you! What a great uncle he is! Hope you all have another great day! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Hello Dr. Pia,
Love these celeb look alikes. Ed Asner and Reba are my favs. Brings smiles to my face. I know Cano will get a forever home soon. His cute hat makes me think of all the Halloween costumes for small pets I saw at Michael's yesterday. There was even an inmate costume all with stripes. Zoe, you could be the inmate and the rest of the gang could be your attorney, warden etc. Haha You have been very good since Dad's surgery, so maybe an angel is a better idea. You all need to check them out, pretty cute. Glad the blog is back to normal. My entire day should have been a do over, but on to bigger and better days. Thinking of you all lots while I work away and will check back later.
    Hugs & smiles,
    Lynn

  • Good morning Dr Pia,
Me & Mimi just love these pics! Ed Asner is Mimi's favorite (I don't know who that is, but she does & is laughing her head off) I like Benicio del Toro, what a face!
I sure hope Cano finds a good home soon. He looks like a great friend.
Oh, Maddox, how touching. I'm told that I was laying with my Poppi when he passed away, but we were not alone. Abram is so loving and loyal. What a wonderful friend. Karen, you have so much room in your heart and your home. You are a great lady.
Mimi has to visit a friend in California this weekend, I'll be home with Papa but there won't be any computer time for me. So, have a great weekend and I'll sign in on Tuesday.
    Your pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello Dr. Pia, Minnow, Kirby,Lynn,Dudley and my glue squad buddies-
Whew we are off today!! Great since Mom worked another overnighter taking care of a wonderful boxer dog at the animal hospital and lots of dog boarders. Dr.Pia we like the celebrity photos- especially Conan. Hope Cano gets a forever home soon. Maddox, what nice news about Abram coming to live with you and karen. Of course he is handsome, as are YOU! Have a great time at the dog shows this weekend.
Kirby, hope your tail is well and that bad neighbor stays away from the wildlife. Dudley, it felt wonderful, like my puppy days romping and jumping at the dog park with a young sheltie man named Hudson. Rebel, are you busy chasing ducks? Missy Chow, hope all is well with you and you must look wonderful after spa day. Delia, sorry for your loss and hope you feel better real soon. Zoe, hope your Dad is doing great and here's wishing you lots of t.p. finds. Oops - got to go- Lynn, hugs for you and will try to get to michael's- Love, and hugs to Cora belle too- Abby

  • You did well Dr. Pia! I especially like the Snookie one... ;-)

Thank You to everyone for the Welcoming me back, and for the Condolences for my brother-in-law, it is very much appreciated.

I hope everyone is Healthy and Happy!

    Hugs,
    delia and Kitty =^. .^=

    p.s.
Jan thanks for the notice of the post yesterday...I went and did the tedious job of commenting on all the past DW posts while gone...that's the German in me, just had to do it! ;-)

  • Well, I won the Breed. Now I am laying in front of a fan under a nice shade tree waiting to go into the group to represent the chows. The judge today told Jan that I was soooooooo adorable. She was easy. All I did was give her my "have no fear, Maddox is here" look and she melted. I knew I had it in the bag. Hehehehehe
    Later maniacs,
    Maddox

  • ..cute doggies..I think I look like Charlize Theron..(wishful thinking!)..Karen you are the greatest...hope everyone is having a good day..sorry we didn't get Delia blog..bet it was interesting..good to have you home...people that poison wildlife are just plain Mean!I must eat a couple warrior prince cookies and rest..the Chiweenies are coming for a couple days..yikes!!!over and out, Cora-Belle.. p.s... a D.W, calendar..that would be cool

  • Last comment of the day. I got a Group 2. Just missed out on a group 1. The bulldog got that. But I am very happy. They only give 4 placements and there are over 20 breeds in the non sporting group. So, the Glue Squad got a piece of it. Waa Huu
Going to take a nap now. It was hot out there today
    Love,
    Maddox

  • Hi Dr Pia, I like the picture of Cano and hope he will find a forever home soon. He certainly deserves some c/c time with one someone who will love him unconditionally. Reba is kind of cute too.

Congratulations Maddox on your win. I'm sure Karen, Jan and Abram are all very proud of you, but who wouldn't be. Kdos to Karen for her love of Abram; sorry to hear about Abram's loss...God Bless Scott on his deployment. Kirby, we have squirrels running around my yard too; but I can only chase them however, they always seem to be on the other side of fence, why I run to them, I don't know. It's when they cross in front of me I can get too excited.

Hope Abby, Cora-Belle, Rebel, Dudley, Zoe and Kitty are doing well. Where's Chloe???

    Hi Lynn & Delia.

    Till next time,
    Missy Chow
    xoxo

  • ..good going Maddox!! over and out, Cora-Belle
