My Extraordinary Father, Maddox
Posted by Ghenghis Khan
My father, Maddox, is a real champion, who just won a very special trophy, the President’s Trophy for Breeder of Best of Breed. His breeder, of course, is Karen Tracy of Liontamer-Pazzazz Chows. This trophy was first presented in 1982. You must win three times, in order to keep the trophy and no one, except for Maddox, has ever been able to claim the prize! CONGRATULATIONS, DAD!
1 Ah, just finished breakfast. Now it's time to check my email...
2 Oh look, there's a message from my father, Maddox! He sent me some photos to look at!
3 Hi son! I wanted to update you on how I've been doing lately!
4 Since you've been on your hiatus from shows, I thought I'd pick up your slack and attend a few! Here I am in the sink, ready for a bath so I can look my best!
5 After bathing, Karen gives me a good grooming, which includes light trimming and lots of brushing.
6 Then it was off to the show! This one was called the Spring Chow Chow Cluster and was hosted by the Southern Chow Chow Club.
7 You'll be happy to know that our friend, Jan, showed me and we won! Here we are with the judge, my ribbons, trophies, and prizes!
8 The two smaller trophies are for Best of Breed and the tall one was the President's Trophy for Breeder of Best of Breed. These honors have to be won 3-times in order to retire and keep the trophy. Guess who gets to keep all three?
