More Adventures in New York City
Posted by F&S
After so much fun and so many adventures touring the streets of New York City, we, Frenchies, thought it would be a good idea to pop into the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia space in the landmark Starrett Lehigh building. It’s always inspirational visiting the offices.
Sharkey, while window shopping and meeting new dogs is fun, we should really should stop by Martha's office and catch up on a little work. We are, after all, famous entrepreneur Frenchies!
Sharkey? Where did you go?
Franny, I was just making friends with these tiny pups! Hey there! Don't be shy! Just because we're a bit bigger than you, doesn't mean we're not friendly!
OK - Down to buniness! I love visiting the Starrett-Lehigh building, don't you, Sharkey? There's a lot of history here!
The building was built in 1930 by William Starrett and the Lehigh Valley Railroad. Trains used to run right through the building, unloading their freight directly onto the loading bays!
And now Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia operates all the way up here on the 9th and 10th floors!
The company's mission statement is on the wall, Francesca! 'We are leaders, not followers.' So true! You and I are great leaders, as well!
'We are teachers, not preachers.' Well, Franny, you and I not only teach each other, but strive to educate all the readers of the Daily Wag about so many topics with our vast knowledge!
'We innovate and invent, we don't copy or repeat.' Let's face it - we are some of the most creative pups out there!
Oh, Sharkey! I like this one! 'It's a good thing, until you discover a better thing.' This one is so true! What a testament to keeping your mind open and striving for the best!
Look, Patsy Pollack, Senior EVP of Merchandising is hard at work with Martha in the Clerestory space at Starrett. Patsy, please let us know if there is anything Francesca and I can help you with!
Wow! All of this thinking has sure got me beat! How about a quick nap on this sofa in Martha's office while she finishes up?
