We hope you all had a really fun St. Patrick’s Day. We, Frenchies, celebrated the holiday in New York City, where people and dogs really know how to party!
1 Francesca, I'm so glad Uncle Carlos brought us into New York City for St. Patrick's Day! I can't wait to walk around and see all the people celebrating!
2 Hey girls, looking good! Sharkey and I just love your green outfits! Did you know people have been wearing green for St. Patrick's Day since the 17th century?
3 It's true! Saint Patrick used shamrocks to explain the Holy Trinity to the Irish. People used to wear shamrocks and green ribbons in his honor.
4 A lot of people tend to drink on St. Patrick's Day, Sharkey! The holiday falls in the middle of Lent and was one day where the church's restrictions on eating meat and drinking were lifted to celebrate Saint Patrick.
5 Hey there, little friend! I don't think this bar is the type that allows dogs in it. Besides, you wouldn't want to get stepped on by some over-exuberant celebrators!
6 Oh, now I like how you two have gotten into the spirit! Those green beads add a touch of the holiday without overwhelming your outfits!
9 While we Frenchies may not be the first breed to be associated with St. Patrick's Day, it is true that the French do celebrate the holiday.
10 Francesca, there certainly are a lot of Frenchies celebrating this holiday! Nice to meet you, Mancha! I just love your spots!
11 Wow, a Frenchie named Potato! You sure do look wiped out! Have you been partying all day? Francesca and I have only just begun!
12 I'm wiped out because I've been trying to ride this skateboard. Have you ever tried it? It's fun but exhausting!

Hello girls,
I can only imagine the fun you had in the city on St. Patrick's Day. And I bet you saw a lot of interesting people and pets all decked out in green. See that, I knew you could have fun when GK is gone. I know you miss him when he is gone but you also know he is doing something he likes to do and you know he is only going to be gone a short time and then he comes back home again. I go to two places and I love it. I go between Gerry and Dick Roberts and Karen. When I am at one house, I miss the others but I know I will see them again soon and I do all kinds of things at each place. There are different chows at both places that are my relatives and this way I get to see them. I do different things at both places so I am never bored and the best part is that when you go to the next place, they are soooooooooo happy to see you and give you all kinds of goodies. You guys ought to try going to your relatives for a va ca for a time. It is the best of both worlds. I can just picture Zoe visiting one of her relatives and the day she comes back home her mom is standing there with some TP and doll heads in hand for her little Zoe. hehehehehehehe
Well Glue Squad, I am going to lay down by the air conditioner again. Can you believe it is this hot already? I am melting. Geez.
Love to all,
Maddox

Hello Ladies,
I never saw so many Frenchies, girls. It must have been a "Frenchie" kind of St. Pattie's Day. LOL!!!! I hope you told them to start blogging with us and see their photos. I just cracked up when I saw G.K.'s photo with the green hat. Now Kirby, I must tell you that Dad chasing you around and getting a pee sample in a cup is much better than the way I have to do it. Remember, my taliwacker has to get shown to God and everyone---oh well, it is for medicine. Anyway, they have to always ultra sound me and get a sample of urine, fresh, with a tube. Yucko, and double yucko. I also love the Dog Biscuit Day choice for your birthday, Rebel. Mimi and Papa made an excellent choice. Dad got off ice fishing and it is fun time for me and Mom. He will be back Thursday night. She is going for a massage today---oh, la, la!!!! Have a good day all.
Love & licks,
Basil

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!
GK, you are looking
A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
I had a good St patties day but I was so excited I accidentally dyed my whole bag of dog food green... now it tastes like wet paint dog food.
Blach!
Anyways, good times, right?
Love,
Nadia

Oh, Ladies!
What fun! You really met some nice new friends! I've heard about skateboarding dogs. I'm not sure I'm up to that. I think I'd like walking through the city, so many smells, good & not so good.
Hey Karen----wad ya do to our boy? Verrry funnny! I will say, G.K. looks fabulous in green.
Basil's Dad ice fishing, sounds like your weather is normal compared to ours. Mimi had the A.C. going in the car yesterday & I got cold! She said she'd fix the vents so the air doesn't blow down on me, much appreciated....
Have a great first day of spring everybody.
Your Pal,
Rebel

Hello ladies, Kirby here.
It was too hot here for me to go out on St. Patrick’s Day. I just stayed inside by the AC and kept cool. Yesterday it was 88 degrees and should top that today. I don’t know what is happening to the weather. I can’t wait until I get into those cool mountains in two weeks. I’ll take long walks with my Daddy and have lot’s of things to explore. May even find a bear again. I most likely won’t but just thinking about it makes it exciting. One day, a little boy thought that I was a bear. He wanted his daddy to get him one too. I think I will take a nap by the AC now.
Catch you later, Kirby.

I can safely say you are livin' quite a life!
Bustling around NY on St. Patty's Day isn't for the faint of heart!
I really like the friendly pooches you met on your adventure. I really love the name "Potato". Or is it "potahto" hee hee
Weather in NH has been down right delightful. Above normal temps and it feels wonderful.
GK certainly looks dapper outfitted in a green shamrock hat!
Happy First Day of Spring!

Hey,
Where the heck is little Zoe?
Hope all is well.
Nadia, your dog food is green? Kool!
Kirby Bear, I know what you mean about
the heat. You will feel much more comfortable
when you go to a cooler place. Will you be
commenting on the DW when you are on vacation?
It is cooler now so I am going out to lay on the deck and
I will be like Cora-Belle and watch for critters.
Gnite

What a great trip! I loved seeing all your frenchie dog friends. Cora belle, where was it cold and rainy? It was so warm and sunny yesterday here I almost got sunburn. I am blonde like Sharkey so we have to be careful in the sun. Not sure I would eat green dog food Nadia but I certainly find crumbs to eat of human food that I enjoy. I did an overnighter at work last night with mom so need to catch up on my beauty rest. Hugs to all the glue squad and Nicki and Kris my cat buddies! Abby the pug frenchie dog
