  • Good morning Dr. Pia,
What a wonderful post you have today. And it is a very good post for all of us as we had such a scare with Cora-Belle. We were all very sad and now she is back home from the hospital and we are all hoping and praying for her to get better. We hope that Lucinda and James keep us up to date on her progress until she is well enough to do it herself. Karen says that this is the only blog she knows of where so many truly care so deeply about each other. We are like a family here on The Daily Wag and when one of us is hurting, we are all hurting. When one is happy about something that happened to them, we are all thrilled for them. When one of us is bad, well, we laugh at that one, but we do try to encourage her to be good once in a while. But, the point is, whether sick, good or bad, we all stick together. We should be called the Glue Squad cause we all stick together no matter what.
    Love to all,
    Maddox

  • Good Morning Dr. Pia

Cute blog this morning and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Hey Maddox does that line about when she is bad have anything to do with me? I'm on my best behavior this week Santa comes in 10 days then look out I have 365 days to be myself - thank God!!! This being good thing is for the birds.

Cora Belle you made my day!!!! I'm so happy you are still on this side of the grass you had me freaking out there for a while.

So I had a Vet visit yesterday which no one told me about until the collar was around my neck - I hate suprises :( You know when these humans say getting old is a bitch well it is. I'm 6 and now they think I might have an allergy or something. I've been scratching my eyes and they've become all red and swollen. The Doc put me on 3 medications to see if I get some relief if not I have to go back in 5 days for some tests. This is just great my eyes are big enough without being swollen. I wish I had one of those masks that people use for swollen eyes I need to look cute for my Christmas pictures I can't have puffy eyes it will look like I was out drinking all night!

Gotta go now mom is going upstairs to wrap some gifts before work maybe I'll chew some of the tissue paper up I'm sure that will make me feel better ;)

    Zoe

  • Yes, my sweet little Zoe, the being bad was about you. But, you make us laugh. And you only chew up small things. It is not like you ate your house or anything big like that, yet. hehehehe
Wait till Basil, Rebel, Dudley, Kirby and all the rest hear that Cora-Belle is better. They will be as happy as we are.
Dr. Pia, I forgot to mention that I love the horse heads. That is a beautiful drawing.
    Maddox

  • Thanks Dr Pia...I really enjoyed your post. Christmas time is coming.........

Dear Cora Belle - I did not check in late yesterday, but boy am I glad you're O.K. Passing out is just too scary! Hey, Maddox, "The Glue Squad" is a great idea!
Ooh Zoe, your dear little eyes. Maybe a couple of cold cucumbers would help! You can eat them, too!
I'll check in later & see what else is going on.
    Your Pal,
    Rebel

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
And hello to you too Dr. Pia. Nice post today. I guess one could say that we all are adopted in some way or another. I left my mother and father when I was only three months old. That was the last time I saw them. I have been living with my Mommy and Daddy for the past 10 years and enjoy every day with them. Mommy tells everyone that I don’t know that I’m a D O G. Cora Belle don’t scare us like that. So glad you are better. Hang in there; we’re all putting our paws together for you.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Bravo!

  • Mom said to tell you, "Bravo! Well done! Outstanding!" I enjoyed it, too!

  • Dear Dr. Pia,
Thank You for your wonderful contributions here, you have a Big Heart for all those fur-critters that need help...it does not go unnoticed.

What a coincidence, I woke up crying about my horses Ibn and ChutYa, I miss them so much and here you had my tribute painting displayed...Thank You! All the photos today made me smile :) :-)

    Have a Wonderful upcoming Hanukkah!
    and G-d Bless You!

    Your friend,
    delia & Kitty =^..^=

Thank God our Cora-Belle is finally doing better and our prayers are with her and all the rest of you delightful friends! • Happy Holidays Dr. Piz,
This was such a fun blog today. I was singing away, and also singing the Halleluih chorus for my friend Cora Belle. You have a lot more running in you, so you rest up. And my Zoe girl. When I heard you were going to the vet's I was worried. I hope your eyes get unswollen for your Santa photos. You are beautiful any way you are though--you know my heart belongs to you!! Everyone have a great day.
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Great song Dr. Pia. What beautiful photos of adorable pals finding love and happiness.

I'm so happy I checked back in last night because I found out our dear buddy Cora-Belle was doing much better at home recovering. You take it easy and rest up sweetie. Thank you Lucinda and James for letting us know that our favorite critter chaser is on the mends.

Ahhh Zoe no not an itchy eyes. Well you know that your Mom and Dad will do everything to make sure you are feeling better. I hope the medication help out. By mask did you mean a pirate eye-patch? You're so silly, imagine mixing Halloween and Christmas together.
