I just adore this Jacquard Sweater with its parade of pups knitted into the design. They say that this is a sweater with a pedigree!

Yes, Francesca, and don't I look absolutely fetching in this green Diamond Sweater? It's a classic sweater with a tweedy bit of homespun charm and it also comes in red and blue, so we might have to go back and stock up!

The pom-pom embellishment is supposed to look like a winter scarf tied around the neck.

  • Hello Ladies & G.K.,
I'm so glad all 3 of you are shopping together. G.K., you are a good brother looking out for the girls in the upcoming cold days. It is snowing as I blog--has been most of the weekend on and off, but nothing deep yet. I could use one of those sweaters, better yet that parka I saw you wearing on the show recently. I am sure everyone wants their picture taken with you all. After all you are celebraties. Franny and Sharkey, I must say you look mighty fine in all those outfits. I am sending Mom soon to Petsmart. I want to be warm outside, like in front of the fire. I miss you Zoe. Hope your Mama is having fun. Have a great Monday all.
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Was this an official appearance the three of you made because that would be so much fun to come out to a Pet Smart and meet all of you. Your new sweaters look fabulous as do you F & S. G.K. that was so thoughtful of you to procure transportation.

  • Good morning girls,
My my, don't you look like high fashion models.
Very stylish. Do they make rain gear? I, along with Cora Bell, Kirby and GK would probably be too hot in those sweaters. But rain gear would be good for dogs like us with more fur than the Frenchies and other shorter coated breeds. Cora Belle could chase critters all day long in the snow or rain and wouldn't have to worry about getting soaked to the skin.
Basil, you have been pretty good health wise buddy. Keep it up. I am very happy about that. Geez, don't tell me everyone on here is so behaved that we have no My Bad stories except for the trouble Zoe gets in to. I bet when she finally gets to post comments again, she will have a whole bunch of Time Out experiences to report to us. hehehehehe
    Have a fun day everyone,
    Maddox

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
I’ll bet that GK and I have enough fur coming from us that we could knit you two sweaters. If not, then we could get Maddox and a few others to help out. I wasn’t too good this weekend. These warm days bring out the flees in the back yard. When they bite me they don’t live very long, but the spot makes me itch and I bite at it. I now have three holes in my coat and have to wear the “lampshade of shame” for a while. That’s what I call that “cone” around my neck. I’ll be glad when the spots grow back hair and I can put that “shade” away. Well that was my weekend; how did your weekend go?
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Once again! Two little lovelies to see.
My Mimi loved the sweaters. As I've said before, I haven't gotten comfortable yet wearing clothes. Mimi says we'll try again. I say, What's this "we" stuff!
Like Maddox, I'm so glad you're feeling well Basil!
Kirby, my friend next door, Erroll, sometimes needs to wear a cone, too. I hate to call it the cone of shame 'cause you didn't do anything bad! Those fleas are just so nasty. Hang in there buddy.
    Great day to all!
    Rebel

  • Hi Girl Friends &G.K., It is so great to see all three of you adorable friends together again! G.K., you were so nice to take such good care of your sisters while visiting PetSmart! All of those workers looks so happy to see all three of you just like I did!!! Those sweaters you girls showed us are beautifil! Did G.K. buy each of you all three of them?! Even though I should wear a sweater or raincoat when necessary, I just can't stand being covered up. Cora-Belle, sure hope you and Kit-Band are doing better and I praise you for both being 15 years old-amazing!! I miss you, too Ms Zoe and can't wait to see what you have been up to! Sure hope everyone has a terrific day today! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • ..wish I could wear sweaters..but yes, I would overheat..you frenchies look so cute..bet the 3 of you have a fun time shopping..it would be so cool to see you in the store..KIt-Bang is looking really scruffy..so we are calling her "Scruffy" behind her back, I know, not nice, but nobody every said nice was a cattledog trait...but she can make fun of me because my sight is failing and I bang into the furniture every now and then..but Lucinda is so good to me..as a matter of fact we are off to go look for critters to chase..but not to close to the river bank..later..your pal, Cora-Belle p.s. they would never get a lampshade around my neck..I would bite their hands off!

  • I have a pug, Cyril, and a rescue chichuahua, Jemima.
We have a house up in Bedford Hills, where, as you know, it does snow a LOT and both my dogs get REALLY cold going outdoors.

I have tried, in VAIN, to find DOG snowsuits, that cover the legs and, for female dogs, the abdomen, because my chihuahua is VERY fur impaired (she's normal, but normal for chihuahuas IS fur impaired) and suffers terribly in the snow. In the city, I can put her in a front-carrier pouch with a Snuggle Safe (which are GREAT) while my pug trots around to complete his business, but in the country, she likes to wander around more.

Have you thought about designing a line of winter gear for dogs that a) has FOUR LEGS and closes on the TOP (to keep the chest and abdomen warm) and b) is sex-specific (i.e., a bit more open for the boys and closed up for the girls)???
