  • I have two sweet (2-3 yr. old) Chocolate point siamese who I adopted from a client. I am a social worker and took the "girls" after they had been neglected for about one year. They often compete for my attention and love to be interactive. I worry that my oldest, Kenya, is feeling pressure to eat too fast as they appear to be competing that way as well. Any suggestions for me? Thanks M.

  • Hello Ladies,
This is the best Christmas ever!!!! Seeing all the Daily Wag friends still is wonderful. It is like Christmas is still today. Dudley Do Right, I never saw your photo, and you are part of the glue squad, and maybe Kirby's Dad will send one in to the Daily Wag. Please, please. I really like the cat in the Christmas tree photo with the dog below. Thank goodness she didn't end up like the one on Christmas Vacation. I am still being Mom's nurse with this awful virus, and now Dad too. Oh my, oh my!!! We are a kleenex factory around here right now. Mom better get well for New Year's Eve. That is really good food night---for them anyway.
    Have a great day!!!
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • what a fine looking group of doggies..what fun to see you...wow..our power just came back..uprooted tree on a power line..never a dull moment..I must get a snack and go to bed..over and out..cora-belle

  • Good Morning F & S

You sure did receive lots of photos. Mom has one of me sitting on her lap with Santa that she is going to send in and I'll forward the email address to my cousin Cloe so you can see her picture. She is cute if you are into Huskeys, no comparison to us Frenchies.

I got in trouble yesterday ;) It was raining so hard and I had to pee but didn't feel like getting wet so I just did a little pee pee in the new bed Sophie got for Christmas. No big deal mom washed the bed but she wasn't happy with me. I think I need a small umbrella I could wear it on my head and tuck my ears under this way my head won't get wet. Who am I kidding with the size of my ears I guess it would have to be a pretty big umbrella. I'm going to look for mom's golf umbrella that should do the job.

So does anyone have exciting plans for New Years Eve?

    Zoe

  • Good morning everyone,
I went back to the last post to check for any new comments and I saw Chloe the Husky had something to say. Chloe, are you the one that has relatives related to Zoe? Welcome to the DW, hope you keep posting. There are some very festive pictures on the post today. It is nice to see so many pets being cared for so well by their human companions.
Dudley, we are still waiting for your picture. And Kirby Bear, maybe you could send one cause some of us are not allowed on FB. I am sure that whenever you get to send them, the DW staff would post them. After all, you are part of the Glue Squad. That reminds me, Dr. Pia wanted us all to send her pictures and tell her about ourselves so I better get that done.
    Later,
    Maddox

  • Hello Sharkey! well it looks like everyone is winding down for the end of the 2011 year...although I'm not familiar with the posters of the pets in this display, they are darling, and I'm happy to see that there are rescued furever pets.

Say hello and Happy New Year to mommie Martha and the tech crew here.

    delia & Kitty =^..^=

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
How about those pictures today! Now I can put a face to those names I see on the DW. I don’t have mine and some have wondered what I look like. Well, if you have seen GK you have seen me. Our markings and color are 95 percent alike. My muzzle doesn’t have as much light on it and the top one third of my ears flop forward. I look like a big puppy. I’m not a show dog so I don’t get “fluffed” and trimmed daily. I do get brushed by my Mommy and Daddy. I’m about two inches taller than GK. I was born and have always lived in warmer areas, so my hair isn’t as long as GK’s is. I’m 55 pounds of muscle and bone; not a bit of fat on me at all. Yep,I’m 100 percent Chow Chow.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Good Morning F&S,
Great photos of all your friends. I got into a bit of trouble this morning. Mom was leaving for the office and as she was walking out the door she saw I had something black in my mouth in the yard. Turned out to be one of her favorite shoes I was chewing on.
I just thought it was a new toy so when she came out to get it I took off running in the yard. Mom was not happy because she had to run after me to get it. I on the other hand had a ball "playing" with mom. Now off to the play with Aunt Denise, she is cleaning today and I love to jump in the water bucket.

  • Hi Girl Friends &G.K., Thanks again for sharing more terrific photos of so many more of The Daily Wag followers! Everyone of those sweethearts look so cute! Once again I love reading everyones great comments! We sent my photos late yesterday-hope you see them soon! Maggie, maybe you could feed Kenya in a different room away from the new babies. Basil, sure hope Mom and Dad get better real soon-you are a great nurse! Cora-Belle, it is 54 here this AM and windy and wet! Zoe, I understand that you don't like to go out when it's wet, but it would be great if you found a dry spot outside, you little sweetie! Maddox, I loved seeing that handsome photo of you and love your comments! Delia and Kittie, you are both beautiful! Kirby, I'm not on FB either so would love to see your photo, too! Hey Chloe, I love Huskys and would love to see your photo, too! Hope all of you have a great day! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Thanks Maddox for welcoming me to the DW:) Yes, my mom and Zoe's mom are sisters. They are very close. Aunt Ann (Zoe's mom) came over 2 weeks ago to do some baking for Christmas and she gave me lots of cookies to taste as she baked them. And, if I do say, I am much prettier then cousin Zoe:) Like I said, I haven't met her yet, but I hear she has very big ears and snorts like a pig LOL But I do love her anyway.

    XO Chloe

  • More great friends!
Hey Chloe, are you related to our Zoe! Hey Zoe, I was new to winter time last year and I was using the dining room. The carpet is cleaned now & I'll be in big trouble if I peepee there now. I must say, my favorite picture of our glue squad was yours. BUSTED!
I will be going to a big New Years Eve party with Mimi & Papa. We visit out of town friends and we stay overnight with them. I love to go visiting.
Thanks for the reminder, Maddox. I'll get my pic to Dr. Pia right now.
    'Til tomorrow,
    Your pal.....Rebel

  • What a treat it is see even more Daily Wag pals. The DW certainly has some of the cutest pup pals out there. I especially love photo #11 of Maggie May staring intently up at her stocking.

Busted by Basil! I don't have any photos of me except for one in my FB profile photos. I will see about sending it over here. I hope your Mom and Dad are feeling better today. DDR I can't wait to see your photo. Welcome aboard Chloe! I can't wait to see a photo of you and hear about YOUR latest exploits as well. Zoe, Zoe, Zoe what are we going to do with you? Better hope that Sophie doesn't catch you!

  • ..yo, Kirby I looked at the wrong dog on face book..some white little furry mid size critter...I didn't know you were a chow..you sound really good looking..Chloe did you read my previous post that a siberan husky lives down the road a few miles and I give it a bark when we drive by..occassionaly it wanders up to the farm/ranch for a day of spying on coons and otters..though Lucinda won't let me out when she is here..says I'm too old to run for miles...must go lay on my heated mattress pad..then there is talk of loading me up in the Tundra going off for a mocha and checking the Columbia River ..don't worry dog pals I ride up front with James and Lucinda..over and out..Cora-belle...p.s. just let the cats stuff themselves and don't worry, this advice from KIt-bang, but if I were you Maggie W. I wouldn't follow her advice KIt-bang is a weird-o...over and out..cora-belle

  • All the photos are adorable, but I am smitten with "Buddy"... Certainly looks dapper in his Santa hat!

  • Good Morning DW! I recently heard that not only my cousin Zoe blogs, but now Chloe does too! So I think I should intoduce myself, I am Ginger. I am a 7 yr old Bichon Fris and I live with my humans in NJ. I do my best to make them happy. I especially love the girl, Nicole, we play dress up all the time! I am much more refined than my cousin, Zoe...I rarely get in trouble! So, I will be looking forward to reading my cousins, Zoe and Chloe, blogs! My life is pretty simple...sleep, eat, and play with my humans. I do like to search for moles every now and than, which leaves me pretty messy...but mom cleans me up right away! Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!! I will be hiding under the covers because I don't like fireworks:)

  • HI Ginger..... isn't it fun blogging? Zoe has been doing it for a long time and she has so many new friends. Mom says she is famaous on the DW LOL. I have met a few of her friends already and they are all so nice. Don't know how i will be with fireworks, I never saw or heard them before.

    Chloe xx

  • I have to cckuhle because Chloe looks so innocent in these photos. And, so cute! My favorite is also the one of her on the shawl with a ‘Mona Lisa’ smile on her face. Hmmm, I wonder what she is thinking.
