Puzzle Boxes From Boxology!

Posted by Sharkey

The other day, Martha brought home these amazing carved wooden boxes.  They were made by Richard Rothbard, who has a company called Boxology.  They’re actually puzzle boxes made to look like Martha, Francesca, and me.  Take a look!

Well would you look at this, Francesca! These wooden figures look just like us! They're carved so nicely.

Woof! Now what does that mean?

I guess that's about as much as they come apart.

Franny, stay calm. You're forgetting that I'm quite good with puzzles.

Well then, prove it.

You see, this piece of me goes here.

And now I'll put Martha's head back on.

  • F & S what cool puzzles. I think I'd be tempted to chew on those cute little things rather than put them back together.

Francesca I'm so happy when they show a close up of your teeth makes me feel not as bad. Mom says mine look like a picket fence we both could have used an orthodontist as pups.

Well my mom is as happy as a pig in !@#& this morning. Today is opening day for the Phillies. She is planning on going to the ballpark early even if it's raining. Crazy woman I'll just watch from my nice warm, dry sofa at home. I now F & S you are Yankee fans, sorry ;)

Have a great weekend everyone. Rocky haven't heard from you lately I hope your mom is okay - you are in our prayers.

    Zoe

  • You girls better keep an eye on the puzzle boxes of yourselves and Martha in case G.K. gets jealous and hides them until Boxology makes a likeness of him.
Yes Zoe, I agree with you, I hope Rocky's mom is ok.
I hope everyone has a great weekend despite the weather and don't foregt to play an April Fool's joke on your friends.

  • Hello Ladies,
What great puzzles, and a great puzzle solver. I saw the look alikes of you two girls from the Remarthable contest winner in felt the other day. Everyone is so Frenchie creative.Franny and Zoe, it must be a Frenchie thing, as my teeth needed orthodontist work big time, but alass other things were more important. I can still chew just as good with my teeth not being so perfect. The last we heard from you Rocky was when your Mom was getting in for her appointment--please let us know how she is. We care about you both so very much. Zoe, the Rockies have their opener today also--we aren't too into baseball though. I am looking forward to some nice sun baths as it is supposed to be 77 tomorrow. Have a great weekend all.
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • WOW indeed amazing craftsmanship! great items...lucky you!

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
This will be my last post for a while. I’ll be away, not to Maryland, for spring break. I may be able to make a few post; depends on the connections for Daddy’s computer. I’m not good with puzzles, so I’ll just let you two work those and I’ll watch. I noticed that GK didn’t do one of the puzzles either. Didn’t get to walk yesterday; too much rain. No walk again this morning; too much work going on around here. Daddy says that if I helped more, and stayed from under foot, we would finish the work faster. Have a good weekend all and enjoy the springtime.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hi Girl Friends &G.K., WOW! Those sure are cute little puzzle boxes! Richard Rothbard sure did a nice job making those sweet little puzzle boxes for you to enjoy. Sharkey, you sure can be calm and use your intelligence to help Francesca understand how to take apart and put back together those puzzles. Sometimes she just gets a little excited about things and now that she is back home, you can help her calm down. Sure is fun seeing you do things together again. Where is G.K.?! Hope you include him again next week. Have a great week end everyone! Rockie, sure hope your Mom is doing better. Our prayers will be with you forever. Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Those puzzle boxes are simply amazing. I'm very impressed with how Richard captured all three of your likenesses. Sharkey your many talents never ceases to amaze me.

Franny, you need to save photo #10 for Halloween. I agree with Daddy Maddox that GK might hide the puzzle pieces and hold them for ransom until one gets made of him.

Rocky I hope you and the other lil' Hooligans are helping your Mom rest easier as she recovers. Have a great trip with your Mommy and Daddy Kirby Bear. I hope you can post a few travel tidbits along the way. Have a great weekend everyone!

  • Gorgeous! Love that company!

  • When I read "puzzle boxes" I was thinking they were for cats and dogs! They DO have puzzle toys for cats and dogs that are the latest trend in helping enrich your pet's environment and life. They not only need physical stimulation, but mental stimulation as well! Kitty IQ has some great puzzle food feeders to keep your kitty entertained and happy. These are also great for cats who over eat their food or chew on non-food items around the home.
