Martha Receives a National Humanitarian Medal!
Posted by F&S
Did you happen to read Martha’s blog on Wednesday, when she reported how she received the National Humanitarian Medal for her advocacy of animal care and protection from the American Humane Association? Well, we are so proud of her and we feel honored, too! During her acceptance speech, she gave a slide presentation of her pets and past pets and we wanted to share some of their images with you.
In this photo Martha is receiving the National Humanitarian Medal for her advocacy of animal care and protection given by the American Humane Association’s (AHA).
She spoke to the audience all about us, Frenchies and G.K., and she also reminisced about many of her past pets.
This is Martha as a little girl with Shiner, her very first dog.
Chiggi Toto seemed quite content in this bowl. It's funny that Empress Tang also likes to hang out in bowls.
Although we hate to admit this, Uncle Vanya looked like one handsome cat.
Harry Chow, one of Martha's first chows, had a very interesting face.
Mozart as a baby - we actually miss him very much.
Roscoe was also a fine looking fellow.
The young Beethoven - We didn't know him, but I'll bet he was fond of music.
The old sage, Paw Paw - How we miss him. However, we have G.K., who is his grandson!
Max and ZuZu - they look like they were made for each other!
Teeny and Weenie were inseparable.
This photo of Mozart is priceless!
Another image of our beloved Paw Paw.
Martyn was a great Fresian and we miss him, too.
