We dogs have a case of the winter doldrums and the Frenchies have been spending a lot of time napping. I’m a young puppy and I want to play! I came up with a plan and tried really hard to wake up and shake up Sharkey using a Clocky.
1 Sigh...
2 Sharkey is always sleeping and never seems to have time to play with me. If only I could find something to wake her up!
3 Well, hello! What' s this? A Clocky? It says 'Alarm Clock On Wheels' - Hmmm - I'm getting an idea.
4 See what I mean about Sharkey? There she is, sleeping again!
5 He-he! I'll just push a few buttons and my problems will be solved!
6 Only one more minute to wait!
7 At precisely 6:19 - BEEEP BEEEP !@*#()@) BEEP BEEP!! BEEP!!!!
8 Francesca! What the heck is that thing? It's rolling all around making HORRIBLE noises!
9 Francesca! Please, make it stop!
10 Franny, you went one way and the clock went the other! Catch it!
11 It's okay, Sharkey. I just took out the clock's batteries. Let me soothe you back to sleep.
12 Pee-you, Franny! What have you been eating?
13 Well that didn't go so well, did it? I'll have to come up with another plan.

OK GK, photo #2 could melt all the snow in Chicago in a snap. How much do you practice 'that look' and the one in # 13 to get what you want? Sharkey must be part bear is is partially hibernating with all the snow on the ground. Could be a good time to bond with Franny, that'll get Sharkey interested. Can't wait to see what plan B is.

WOW, you are maturing into a very handsome chow. You look marvelous. But it is not nice to scare your sisters that way, and so early in the morning. Why don't you just make your way to Martha's bedroom and pull the blankets off of her. Maybe she can play with you till the girls get up and before she heads to her studio.

And hello to you too GK. I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who likes to pull pranks on others. I haven’t tried the alarm clock yet, but that is giving me some ideas. You and I like the snow so much and if we lived closer, we could really have a ball in all the snow you have on the farm right now. My favorite game is playing “I’ve got your seat.” When Mommy or Daddy gets out of their seat, I jump into it and won’t move. When they come back I just stare at the TV and pretend that I don’t see them. That works good until Daddy takes my “spot” where I always lay. It’s game over then and he gets his seat back. I often do other things but haven’t room to post them here.

Sharkey and Franny I'm with you why bother getting out of bed when it's so nasty outside. GK tell your moma to get another Chow so you have a buddy to play with. I'm glad the Labs have each other they leave me alone.
It's raining here today in South Jersey which means I'm not going outdoors. Mom was cursing at me this morning she couldn't catch me to go outside. I thought I wore her down but then she faked me out, acted like she was reading the paper and bang she caught me. I hate that feeling of rain drops hitting my big ears
Tonight the big freeze is coming our way - YUK!!!

Mama Martha needs to get you a little brother to play with on these snowy days. I agree with the girls. There is a time for rest and a time for play. Snow days are certainly a time for rest when you have big ears and short hair. Keep warm ladies and G.K. just get Mama involved in some play.

Hi Girl Friends &G.K., Hey, G.K., so great to see you again today you handsome fella! Your sweet little sisters sure have trouble playing when it's so cold outside and no matter what you do they will probably just stay inside until it gets warmer. Maybe you can get Carlos or Shaun to take you outside to help them with whatever they are doing or call Betsy to take you to see the donkeys and the Freisians or ask Martha to get you a brother to play with. Gk Melly here I sent rocky to the other room. I will play with you no problem! I've been trying to get mommy to play rough but she keeps saying not now! We could have so much fun! Rockys daughter Roary had 2 boys they are black and white like roary and rocky.Dad named them Fric and Frac!Usually the pups look like the dad but Dopey has none that look like him he's red and white. Just remember Gk I'm here for you! Melly

Hi sweetie pies - G.K. how about you come to my house and I'll play with you all day long in the warm sun. My yard is small but there's plenty of room to run all the way around the house. You other two sleepy heads can come too if you want! Trish
