Francesca is a Skillful Break Dancer!

Posted by Sharkey

Fancesca and I decided to venture into the other parts of the house to see what the cats have been up to.  Guess what?  Not much!  We found them doing what they always seem to do – lounging and acting very arrogant and unappreciative of our Frenchie personalities.  Honestly!  All I can say is I’m happy that I wasn’t born a cat!

What a peaceful afternoon! The sun is feeling warmer and it's purrfect for lounging cats.

Oh, bother! Here come the Frenchies. All they ever want to do is show off or annoy us!

That's right, Vivaldi. They always seem to show up at precisely the wrong moment. I mean, this is our 'down' time!

  • Ha ha very cute Francesca. Those darn cats don't know how good they have it. You and Sharkey were nice enough to visit them and all they can do is blow you two off. Those are some smooth moves Franny. I didn't know Frenchies could contort themselves like that. I think I'll call this Pretzel Rock.

Zoe, I hope you are feeling better. Just hate it when any of our Daily Wag buddies is under the weather.

  • Hey Franny I have the same moves but I don't call it break dancing I call it give my back a good scratch on the carpet :) It feels sooooooo good then Precious (who thinks she is my mom) comes and gives me lots of kisses and cleans me like a cat. That Precious is a real licker and just loves me.

Those furballs must have a brain the size of a pea. Tell me do they do anything fun or do they just lay in the sun and walk on top of the counter tops and shed? Mom feeds a feral cat she named Mango now that cat has fun. I watch him climb trees, chase critters and he even goes after those pesky wild turkeys that come around. Now that is a cat who I wouldn't mind chewing up some toilet paper with ;)

I'm looking forward to Friday it's suppose to reach 65 degrees!! I'm trying to convince my mom to take the day off so we can spend the day in the yard. I'm hoping Spring is not far off.

  • Hello Ladies,
Now Mom knows what to call it when I do all that crazy itching---the break dance called, "the wild man." I bet if you took those furballs' catnip they would break dance. Oh, Mom and I saw your Aunt Laura who helps you with the blog, yesterday on her show. We knew Laura did the blog, but didn't know she was your Aunt Laura. It just registered yesterday to us. I got a bath yesterday. Yuko city!! I ran, but I didn't hide. It isn't that bad, especially when I get blow dried like I am in the spa. We are having company Friday night for dinner, so Mom thinks she has to clean the house from top to bottom, so nap time here I come. Glad your tummy bounced back Zoe. Have a great day all. Oh, Rocky, how is your Mom doing? I say pprayers all the time for her--and how are the pups? Take care.
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
All this time I have been rolling on my back is really called “Break Dancing.” I thought it was “playing possum” as my Mommy calls it. I often just roll on my back and stay there for a long time not moving anything at all. Sometimes I even let my tong hang out the side of my mouth. I’ve seen some opossums do that when I chase them out of my yard at night. They can’t fool me, I can still hear their breathing when they play like they are dead. I keep telling you two ladies that cats are for chasing; not something to “show off” in front of.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hi Francesca and Sharkey: Really cool break dance moves you have. I see that it is very hard to impress the kitties who share your home. Hmmmph! Oh well...

Zoe - So glad that you are feeling better. It worries us all when something like that happens. Did you have to go to the doctor???

It is kinda warm and the sun is shining so I can have a sun bath in the doorway today and get my dose of Vitamin D and a nap too.

Everyone have a good day. Take care. See ya later. Love, Gracyn.

  • Hi Girl Friends &G.K., This is one of your funniest blog posts I've seen in quite a while and Francesca, you are darling! Your break dancing is superior and I sure would love to be there and show you mine! I love to do that and especially kicking my legs up in the air! Sharkey, do you do the same dancing?! Would love to see it if you do! I don't recall seeing big dogs like G.K. dancing, but I'll bet he could do it, too! Sure looked like a nice, sunny day. Have a great day everyone! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Well thanks for the great laugh! Break dancing? oh that's what they call it, well indeed you are talented...sorry the Gato's don't see that.
I love Bartok's expression of contained excitement...

meeuuw I think I'll go and practice myself...actually it'a a good way to rid some of my silky hair on the rug...now that brings on some excitement from mommie delia, she hates cat hair in the house...puurr Kitty

  • Smooth moves, dear! You take after me and your dearly departed Aunt Chloe, who could really bust some moves NewMom says. She also says a person is as young as their back, so it's good that you are keeping it so nice and flexible.
