On Martha’s blog today, she talks about a recent trip we all took to the Catskill Mountains in New York State. As usual, Martha tells her story and we, dogs, get to tell ours. Have a look!
1 Hey, Sharkey and G.K.! - There's the Bear Mountain Bridge up ahead! It crosses over the mighty Hudson River and leads right to Bear Mountain State Park.
10 It appears that we have to pay a toll on our return trip. All snouts on deck and look under the seats for loose change!

Good Morning Sharkey and G.K. and to you as well Franny where ever you may be
These pictures just break my heart seeing the 3 of you together as a family unit. I guess that was Francesca's last road trip until the trip of no return. Mom said you can come live with us Francesca - we have a nice house, big yard and lots of love. (nothing what you are use to but it's a happy home) We won't send you away if you screw up. Look at me and my adventures, I never got sent away to boot camp.
Basil and Baby Favor I think if Franny is not home soon we need to take a road trip and save her. We'll come up with a plan and mom said she'll drive us.

Don't worry Zoe. I am sure that Francesca's breeder loves her and is taking good care of her while she is visiting. I travel from place to place myself. I stay with my mom for a while, and my co-owner and Jan, the lady that showed me. It is great cause they are all so happy to see me and I get all kinds of goodies when I go from place to place and I love all of them judt as Martha loves all of her animals, whether they have fur or feathers.

Hello Ladies & G.K.,
Franny, was this the final road trip before you were sent away? I hope you are reading again today and let us know why you were sent and when you are coming home. We all miss you so very much. I know Sharkey must be beside herself also. Maddox, it is so nice to have you on board. You have always known the life of a show dog, and I am sure once you are now retired and home all the time you will appreciate how sad Francesca must be without her dog sister and brother and all her family friends on the farm. Please, please Uncle Carlos, help our Francesca get back home. The blog isn't the same without her. We love and miss you Francesca.
Love & licks,
Basil

Yep me too, feel for Franny...miss her! I'm sure she is being taken care of and having fun at the breeders, but none-the-less miss seeing her here in actuality.
Wow that trip to the Catskill Mountains looks just like areas here in Wisconsin! I remember the first time I ever saw an ice waterfall, it was when I moved to Missouri, it absolutely fascinated me. Of course they have them here in Wisconsin too, saw one yesterday in a quarry pit, it was enormous!
I'm having a hard time today thinking of it being Monday, it's a problem when you are retired, you loose track of time, and time goes by so quickly, or is this a sign of age!?

Hello ladies, Kirby here.
I see that you seem to like taking “road trips” as much as I do. I’m like GK; I don’t know how to ice skate but I bet I could learn really fast. Daddy says that I “skate” across the floor all the time. When I see a squirrel outside, I try running after him and often just run in place in the kitchen. My Mommy puts some rugs on the floor and I just slide them aside when I run through the house. That’s sort of like skating isn’t it? Well this month is almost over and another one is starting. Next month has a “spring” in it. That’ll be good when it gets here.
Catch you later, Kirby.

Hi Sharkey and GK: Love the pictures of your trip, but I really am concerned about Francesca. I miss her very much. She needs to come back to us. Uncle Carlos, I hope you are keeping her safe, but I bet she is lonesome for her home and for Sharkey, GK, and the kitties too! If I could write I would make a sign that says "BRING FRANNY HOME," and momma could put it on a stick and I would walk up and down the street with the sign in protest! Of course momma would go with me cause I can't go out in the front yard without my leash.
Well, it is humid and cloudy here on the coast, so no sunbath today. Anyway I feel better now that I have gotten some things off my chest. Time for a nap. Take care. See ya later. Love, Gracyn.

I just want to assure Basil that even though I am retired
from showing I actually like going to my three homes
You have to remember that Franny is with her breeder,
the person that took care of her and made sure she was
healthy and loved from the minute she was born. I love
visiting the people that love me I do different things at
all three places. Sure I miss my friends when I leave them
to go visit the next set of people but each place has
dogs waiting for me to play And let me tell you, the treats
I get at each house are soooooo scrumptious. Don't worry Basil,
Sharkey and GK are probably planning a big
welcome home party for Franny
