Fall Fashion Shoot

Posted by Francesca

Recently we were asked by PetSmart to work as models for a photo shoot to show off Martha's wonderful fall dog fashions, in stores now. Normally we don't even get out of our doggie beds for less than 10 biscuits, but since we're such big fans of the collection, we agreed. And check out Martha's show this Friday, December 3, when we strut our stuff for the audience!

And here I am showing off a cozy red fleece. Notice my wistful gaze and relaxed pose. Those are the marks of a true professional.

Not bad, Newbie! But remember to sell that lovely quilted barn coat with a brighter expression. Make it look effortless! Now let's see your other side.

Nice, Sharkey. That brown barn sweater does wonders for your coloring. But I think we need a cleaner background.

See how that same sweater really comes to life in this light? The details like the cabling and wooden buttons really sell the garment.

Back-lighting can be tricky, but Eliad is an expert photographer. My pink sweater just pops, and notice the subtly sexy show of leg.

I call this pose

7 I call this pose "Cutsie Poo." I didn't spend three weeks at the Daisy Duke Academy of Fancy Dressin' for nothing!

I majored in

Now you give it a try with the barn coat. Not bad, Sharkey, but we can't see your face!

Ah, the classic three-quarter profile. Nice work, Sharkey!

But let me show you how to really sell it with a dazzling smile.

These new sweaters and vests are gorgeous and you two look simply stunning in them. Just what the well dressed Frenchie needs now that the weather is turning colder. Of course GK doesn't need a sweater but maybe he could model some cute kerchiefs to wear.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  • Hello Ladies,
Love it, love it, love it....everything that is you are both modeling. You are quite the models. I see that Mama Marth is having a pet fashion show this week and I hope you both will be on modeling for lots of biscuits. I know my Mom will be first in line at Petsmart to get some sweaters and maybe a fleece coat for me. She has purchased a lot of stuff lately and it all ends up going back. We Frenchies have large necks and I am no exception. She even tried little kids t-shirts and no, they choked me. I am making my Christmas list out today and hopefully won't be shivering much longer.

As for Thanksgiving, it is but a distant memory. Food and fun for several days. Now, visions of sugarplums are dancing in my head. We are supposed to get a little snow today. The tree and stockings are up. We all cried when we saw Tasha's stocking. I miss her so much every day.

    Everyone have a great Monday.

    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Good Morning Girls

I must say you both look gorgeous. Now they are stylin outfits I'll have to send my mom over to PetSmart to make a few purchases.

Basil I hear ya buddy it's so hard to get things to fit us Frenchies. But I have to say I'm very happy one of mom's recent purchases didn't fit - she came home with a hat with antlers and a stupid red thing with bells for around my neck. Ha! the hat wouldn't go around my head and the red thing didn't come close to snapping. A friend of hers has a Chihuahua that looks like a rat she is giving it to her - feel sorry for that little guy.

Our house is all decorated for Christmas it looks so pretty. Dad is going to do the lights on the front trees this week. I have to get busy writing my list for Santa, I sure hope I'm not on the naughty list this year ;)

Well today is the last day I'll be blogging for a while mom is leaving tomorrow for Aruba and won't be back for 12 days - I miss her already. This is her annual vacation with her mom and sisters so we all stay home with dad and he won't type for me:(

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
Well the looooong weekend is over. Now it’s down to business as usual; except for the Christmas decorations going up. I love this time of the year; lots of excitement and food with friends. I didn’t get my walk in this morning; Mommy and Daddy have to get their teeth cleaned. Mommy is yelling “foul” because she says that Daddy is getting the “more gentle” hygienist. Daddy says that both of them has cleaned his teeth and can’t tell the difference between the two. You’re right, GK and I don’t have to put on anything to keep warm. In fact, we need to have it a little cooler. I do have a yellow raincoat for when it’s raining really hard. I don’t like to wear the hat; seems I lost it somewhere (he he). Got to run now; nap time already.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hubba Hubba, Francesca. I'd like to see more of that sexy show of leg, in photo #5! Work it!

  • Hi girls , I really like the buttons on the side ,looks much easier to get into. From my reading I see every one is as excited about Christmas!!!!!! Toys , Toys and more Toys!!! I will wait till the morning that Santa has come .The tree will be full .I get to pass out the presents, Then Gizmo and I open them for the younger less cordinated guys. Oh such fun!!!Your very excited friend Rocky

  • Hi Girl Friends &G.K., WOW!, you two girls look so adorable in those new fantastic coats!! Every one of these photos is absolutely the best and how right you are that Eliad is a terrific photographer! You are the best models I have ever seen! I'm sure that G.K. would look handsome in a beautiful coat, but he is already more handsome with his very warm long, beautiful natural coat! Thanks for sharing this beautiful blog, girls-can't wait to see what you do next! Have another great day! Love Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • I really enjoyed the fashion show. You gals are just too precious. Momma Martha is lucky to have you!

  • Oh what swell models you two make! the outfits are all adorable...the only thing you guys need to work on, is not looking so bored. ;)

    Nice shots Eliad!

  • Sweeties you both look so so cute and so so adorable, Love you lots.
    muaaaa

  • Oh, you are both absolutely stunning. I am so glad Miss Martha is so faithful with posting the pictures of you considering her oh so busy schedule. Mama has been talking about putting up "the tree" but I've never seen one, except the ones in the yard from the window. Something about we really have to this year because Daddy's son is living with us now and then they said something about how I better stay out of it. I don't know, but I'll keep you posted. I thought kittys were suppose to climb trees?

  • Burgundy and red become you, Raven dear. New Mom bought me a Martha Stewart coat from PetSmart, a red one with bone quilting-- it fits my Frenchie figure very well, I must say-- plenty of room around my neck and chest but not too long in back. I don't care that I was born and raised in Pinewood Minnesota, I get cold! Millie got the gold version of the same coat, but she doesn't care to wear it and she has a lot more hair than I do anyway. We've moved from Providence to Boston and New Dad is working on getting things ready for opening night for the Rockettes on Friday. We are staying in a pretty apartment near the Garden and Boston Commons-- it's fun to walk through the Garden and chase the ducks!

  • Both of them are look gorgeous the style of sweaters are look awesome. I would like to see more style of sweaters.
