Fall Fashion Shoot
Posted by Francesca
Recently we were asked by PetSmart to work as models for a photo shoot to show off Martha's wonderful fall dog fashions, in stores now. Normally we don't even get out of our doggie beds for less than 10 biscuits, but since we're such big fans of the collection, we agreed. And check out Martha's show this Friday, December 3, when we strut our stuff for the audience!
Sharkey, since I've had much more experience in the fashion industry, let me show you how it's done. We'll start with the basics: a gorgeous burgundy trench and a full profile.
And here I am showing off a cozy red fleece. Notice my wistful gaze and relaxed pose. Those are the marks of a true professional.
Not bad, Newbie! But remember to sell that lovely quilted barn coat with a brighter expression. Make it look effortless! Now let's see your other side.
Nice, Sharkey. That brown barn sweater does wonders for your coloring. But I think we need a cleaner background.
See how that same sweater really comes to life in this light? The details like the cabling and wooden buttons really sell the garment.
Back-lighting can be tricky, but Eliad is an expert photographer. My pink sweater just pops, and notice the subtly sexy show of leg.
I call this pose "Cutsie Poo." I didn't spend three weeks at the Daisy Duke Academy of Fancy Dressin' for nothing!
I majored in "Staring Off Into the Distance." This thoughtful pose is ideal for a classic co-ed sweater.
Now you give it a try with the barn coat. Not bad, Sharkey, but we can't see your face!
Ah, the classic three-quarter profile. Nice work, Sharkey!
But let me show you how to really sell it with a dazzling smile.
Whew! this modeling is tougher than I thought! Time for a little nap...
