Tang at the Cappuccino Machine

Posted by F&S

As you know from reading our blog on Monday, Empress Tang has been spending a great deal of time in the kitchen.  The Bedford kitchen is where we Frenchies and GK spend most of our time, when we’re not running around outside.  All of the other cats lounge elsewhere in the house, usually on Martha’s soft chairs.  Why Tang likes the kitchen so much, we just don’t know.  Check this out!

That Tang is sure a strange cat. Why do you suppose she is staring at Martha's cappuccino machine, Franny?

Sharkey, from what I can tell, it looks like she just loaded up the espresso grinds. I can practically smell the aroma!

And now she is waiting in anticipation for the coffee to start dripping through. Franny, I half expect that it will.

Sharkey, does she really think that she can steam the milk?

I don't know, but she does look really determined.

Crazy cat! I think she just gave up on the task.

Who ever heard of a cat making cappuccino, anyway?

That little wench! She was just playing with us! We'll get her!

  • Empress Tang certainly has good taste, but an espresso cappuccino would not suite her taste buds, trust me I have licked mommie delia's cup and saucer before and the cream part was OK, but the coffee, Yuck!

love the set up of the bowls...

Why do cats have to climb up on the counter tops? That furball is all over the place in the kitchen. Enough already back to Martha's comfy chairs.

Mom was talking about expanding our kitchen yesterday since that seems to be the place that everyone likes to hang out except for dad. He refuses to sit in the kitchen and talk he said the kitchen is for eating. Mom hangs out there all day, has a great flat screen tv, cooks and reads all her magazines and cookbooks.

Well mom is waiting on me we're going to the garden to pick tomatoes.

  • Francesca and Sharkey, I think you are a little naive. Have you ever seen a cat on caffeine? Watch out! Caffeinated claws are lethal weapons! Keep an eye on Empress Tang, and lock up the cappuccino beans, for your safety. Bye!

  • Hello Ladies,
What is it with this Empress Tang? Does she think she is the queen of the place, roaming on countertops? You two ladies are the queens and G.K. the king and you don't even venture on the countertops. She needs to get her little behind nipped in the bud so to speak. She thinks she owns the joint, what with laying in guacamole dishes and now trying to make coffee drinks. You three need to have a nice talking to Tang and set her straight. Have agreat day, and you three deserve a latte, what with putting up with her antics.

    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
I would watch myself around any cat that is on anything other than milk. And sticking her tongue out at you is not polite at all. I’ll bet she said she was just licking her upper lip; no way I say. Daddy had his colonoscopy yesterday and they found nothing wrong at all. That’s no surprise to me, he gets a “pet scan” from me every day. Hope the cancer will stay gone.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • F, S, & GK, you three better watch your backs, those furballs are definitely up to something. First, Vivaldi is often hopped up on the kitty hooch and now Empress Tang is purring around the coffee beans. Who knows what Bartok, Verdi, and Princess Peony are up to. Stay frosty on the Canine Patrol!

  • Hi Girl Friends, Well, Empress Tang is pretty much a normal kitty as far as I am concerned. My part-time kitty friend, Bogie, does very similar things when ever he comes into our house. Whenever we move things around, he has to check all of the changes before he will lie down for a nap. Just like all kitties, he is very curious. I'm sure all of your kitties are like that. Have fun watching those kitties! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+
