Frenchies on Sirius Radio

Posted by F&S

During the summer months, Martha likes to broadcast her Sirius radio show, Ask Martha, from our home in Bedford.  When this occurs, her Sirius team arrives and sets up a station in our quiet third floor craft room.  We Frenchies decided to take over for Martha this week.  We thought it would be fun and easy.

Oh hi, Jocelyn. You're smiling, so I guess we're not late.

I'll take the first call.

I hope we have some really interesting callers today. I'm all fired up!

My first caller is a Labradoodle from Hamden, CT. Hello, Henry. How may I help you? You're wondering how to stop eating your master's socks? Uhhhh....

Fifteen calls later and I'm wiped! Those callers were asking some really mind-draining questions, like what is the meaning of a dog's life anyway? Too much existential thinking for one day!

OK, Jocelyn - I'll take over now.

  • You ladies certainly do everything don't you? TV, radio, commercials, webisodes, what's next for you two and your baby brother GK? Sharkey you look like an old pro with the headphones around your neck and Franny, those headphones look like an extension of your ears.

Going to get hot again for the weekend so have a lot of fun everyone!

  • Hi Francesca and Sharkey: Broadcasting must be a very difficult job. You have to know what to say at a moment's notice. You two did a swell job.

My daddy is a broadcaster and has been one for 47 years. Today will be his last day of work. He is retiring. He is really happy and said now he can do some things in the house (like get in momma's way)and take naps and take me for more walks as well as himself and not get so tired. The radio station is going to give him a retirement party at a local restaurant next Wednesday. It will be a private party. My daddy doesn't like a whole lot of fuss.

Well, everyone have a great weekend. It is starting to cool off, especially in the mornings and evenings. Take care. See ya later. Love, Gracyn.

  • What don't you do!? Bet that was fun talking to all those pups and owners...hope your advise helped them.
As a feral cat, mommie delia would want to know how she could get me to be a full-time indoor cat...that's a hard one, eh?
Have a great weekend in the Martha household!

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
You two were on the radio? I guess I must have missed that. I would have been sure to call you with a comment or question. You see, I have this little problem….., “What’s that daddy?” Oh, they don’t want to hear about it. Well, ok then. As I was saying, it’s the weekend and things are looking really good for this weekend. It should be only in the high 80’s so I’ll be out and about. With all the dogs running around loose in the neighborhood, I guess this is the “dog days of summer” now. Oh, that’s not what that means. Who would have guessed? Have a good weekend all.
    Catch you later, Kirby

  • Hello Ladies,
Your Mama must be so proud that she can count on you to help her out when she is so busy. You both look really "happening" with those ear phones on. I wish I had sirius radio to have heard the interviews. A job well done!!! Now rest for the upcoming events.

Have a cool and nice weekend all!!!

    Love & licks,
    Basil

P.S. Zoe, what did you ever get for your b-day?

  • Hi Girl Friends, How great that you are answering our questions on Sirius 112! My Mom always listens to Martha on 'Ask Martha' and sometimes she actually gets to talk to her and she loves it! I would love to be able to talk to both of you and G.K., too!!! Thanks for this wonderful blog today! Hope all of you there at the farm have a great weekend! Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+
