Bloggers' Night Out Without Us!

Posted by Francesca

Today, on Martha’s blog, she reported all about a recent event call Bloggers’ Night Out.  All the people who write blogs for MSLO thought it would be fun to invite a whole bunch of fellow bloggers to get together and chat it up.  Sharkey and I were asked to attend, however, we had a prior engagement, so Eliad, our tech guy, snapped some pictures for us.

Sharkey and I weren't able to attend Bloggers' Night Out so, instead, we sent in beautiful paintings and photographs of us to adorn our station.

I just love that portrait of myself. It was painted in 2005 by an artist called Morné. I'm sure it's quite valuable.

Our station also had lots of our new and great PetSmart products. The dog models are wearing some of our awsome clothing line. The portrait of Sharkey was painted by a fan called Le Roy.

Martha addressed the crowd and we're told that she spoke at great length about how wonderful our blog is.

Even though Martha couldn't stay very long, she just had to stop and play ping pong. She's so darn competitive!

  • Good Morning F & S

The Blogger party people look like they had a really fun time. I hope it was just the producers of the blogs and not the actual bloggers who were invited to the party or we have issues. I don't think any of us who are regulars at the Daily Wag got an invite and I must say we are ALL loyal Daily Wag Bloggers. But I have to say if you two were not at the party I would not have attended. I would only go if we could run around and chase cats and have some Frenchie Fun :)

Nothing exciting going on in South Jersey. I'm happy mom still isn't golfing she must of meant it when she said she quit - THANK GOD!!! So I'm sure we'll be working around the house and getting ready for our guests who arrive next week. I can't wait we have the granddaughter arriving who is 6 and she just loves me. The only problem is she won't let me sleep with her because I snore. I might have to ask mom to buy me some of those strips people wear across their nose to stop snoring but I can't imagine what I'll use to plug up my gas - maybe a cork????

    Have a great weekend everyone!!!

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
It sure looked like a good party. Even if you two weren’t there, you still were there in spirit. Maybe they should have a bloggers night out on the Daily Wag with live inputs from all of us. There are a few questions I have to ask Martha. GK is getting to be such a big boy now; why doesn’t he have his own blogg? It’s still hot here; was 90 degrees with a heat index of 94 at 10 PM last night. Come on fall, err, come on winter. I need some more snow. Have a good and safe weekend all.
    Catch you later, Kirby.

  • Hello Ladies,
It's too bad you ladies didn't get to go to the Bloggers' Night Out. I think Mama Martha wanted you at her dinner party she was headed home to. I think she knows also that you girls would have stollen the show.

I am getting very tired of the heat. It is supposed to be only in the 80's for 3 or 4 days, so that will be nice. Mom and I are canning dill pickles today. I hope you all have a great weekend and keep cool.

    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Hi Sweeties,
I noticed that you two tried to sneak off the farm in your fancy little shopping cart though. Got nabbed, huh? Well, your station at bloggers night out looked great with all the goodies from PetSmart on display and you did a great job of tweeting. You two are very funny and so is G.K. Be good and enjoy your weekend!

  • SWEEET!!

    you pups are sooo famous!

  • Thank you for posting the pet mugs! I normally do people for wedding presents but I could not resists their sweet mugs on a mug ;)

You can see more decal work and my handmade porcelain work at my ETSY store
http://www.BROOKLYNrehab.etsy.com and in the recent weddings issue of Real Simple mag.

Big hug and kiss to all of you!
    Alyssa

PS> Thank you for a lovely time Martha!

  • Hi Girl Friends & G.K., MSLO sure does have some great bloggers and all three of you do my favorite one! I look forward everyday to see what you are up to. The 'Bloggers' Night Out' looks like it was a lot of fun for everyone. Eliad did a great job of showing all of those pet products from PetSmart and the beautiful portraits of you two girls. Sorry you didn't get to go. Maybe you can go next year. Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+

  • Hi G.K, This was a very interesting blog about you trying to make friends with all of the poultry who live there at the farm. They were a bit rude and unpleasant toward you even though you were being very nice and gentle. Perhaps they thought you would scare them and hurt them somehow. How wrong they were! You should go back to seeing the donkeys, sheep and horses. They will probably be much kinder to you. Take care. Love, Dudley Do Right XOXOXO+
