New Succulents at the Farm!
Posted by Sharkey
Francesca is healing a little problem with her eye and she needs to rest indoors. Yesterday, I ventured outside and noticed that Shaun was digging along the stone pathway. I saw that he was planting new succulents and I jumped in to help with the chore. It's very gratifying to help around the farm.
1 Hey Shaun! What are you doing out here on the stone path?
2 I see! You are planting more succulents. I love succulents!
3 I can help you. I'll just grab Martha's favorite Japanese cultivator and scrape away some of the gravel.
4 If you scrape the gravel, you reveal the soil beneath.
5 Next, I'll dig a hole with this trowel.
6 It's careful digging between the flagstone.
7 Once the hole is dug, I'll scarify the roots of this sedum Hispanicum Var Minus - a very pretty succulent.
8 Now I'll just tamp it into the hole.
9 Doesn't that look just great?
10 Yes! If I don't say so, myself! Glad to offer my services, Shaun!
