How Annoying is Vivaldi?

Posted by Sharkey

It was a beautiful spring day and we were all outside enjoying the warmth of the sun.  I was just zoning out, relishing the quiet solitude, when all of a sudden, Vivaldi the cat, started acting very strangely.  I just don’t get cats.  They’re either totally aloof or totally in your face.

You see? We can sit here and be civil to one another. You don't have to bark at me all the time.

G.K. - Can you believe what just happened? Vivaldi is one crazy cat. He must have been rolling in the catnip again.

  • Dear GK, Franny & Sharkey,

The farm looks beautiful this time of year you are lucky to be able to romp around and have all that space and peace and quiet in which to play or nap. Cats do nothing for me no matter how pretty they might be, I'd rather they buzz off HA!
I have been very ill so I haven't been able to post much in the past few weeks, we thought it was curtains for me but I have sprang back and am doing much better now, God giving me more time to be with my Mama.
I am catching up on your blogs tonight and have missed your adventures.

    Happy week ahead.

    Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow

  • Oh Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow what is wrong with you? Are you going to be ok? Reading your blog made me sad. If I had your address I'd send you some flowers. I hope you feel better soon :)

As for that furball Vivaldi doesn't he know better than to mess with a Frenchie? Sharkey where was Franny when this chat session was going on I'm sure she would have put him in his place. And G.K. did he just lay there? Must of been the catnip seems to work every time. Hey ask Martha if there is something that dogs can enjoy to get a quick buzz :)

I spent all day yesterday helping mom in the yard. I was rolling in the grass, chewing on the lettuce plants life is good. Then the kids came over for a swim so I was busy being the life guard. Mom had out my spray bottle to keep me cool it sure was a hot weekend.

It's a rainy Monday here in New Jersey so I think I'll catch up on my sleep.

  • ok you got my attention! prrrru- meeuw, Kitty here...why is it people call us Gato's aloof? Just cause you can't boss us around like those dogs. Got to say, Sharkey and G.K. sure looked "aloof" not paying attention to Vivaldi, not giving a hoot about what he wanted to do or talk about. If MS didn't like cats she would have any, so there!!!
I love all critters, even bringing some home for mommie delia...sometimes she's not too happy about that.
have a marrrrrvelous time today...meeuw from Kitty

  • Hello Ladies,
Well, where were Franny and G.K. when you needed them to join in on the conversation with Vivaldi? It might have been more fun if it had been a community chat. But all is well that ends well. And Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow, I am so worried about you. I am just getting to know you and you are such a special lady. I am glad it isn't "curtains" for you. I bet you Mama was about ready to have a breakdown over things. You rest and I know your family is taking good care of you. Extra love and licks to you from me.
    Love & licks,
    Basil

  • Hello ladies, Kirby here.
It’s May and spring is in full swing. It was hot yesterday. Mommy and daddy were outside and all I could do was walk around in the heat and whine. I just wanted them to go back inside where it was cool. Wound up that they just put me inside and closed my door. I had to watch them through the windows. Send that cat down here and I’ll give it a good chase for you. I love to chase. I saw a rabbit through the window this morning and I barked until it ran away. Strangers, at the front door, and rabbits are about the only thing I bark at. Good to hear Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow is feeling better.
    Catch you later, Kirby

  • Hi Sweeties,
I would love to spend a day at your house just watching the behavior of you precious pets. Never a dull moment for Martha, huh? Hugs!

  • Hi Girl Friends, Ms. Sharkey, I love seeing that Vivaldi wanted to get closer to you. Why can't you be more friendly to him?! I guess you are not aware that cats feel that they are the alpha members of all family pets and they feel that they rule the roost. I learned that when I lived with a cat in a backyard before I moved in with my Mom. Now I treat all cats with respect and we get along really well. I love all of you animals at Martha's farm. Love, Dudley Do RightXOXOXO+

  • Hi Sharkey and GK and Vivaldi: Oh Sharkey, he just wants to be friends now. Hmmmm...or does he? Sounds like he is up to something strange. Maybe it is the catnip. It used to do strange things to my grandpa Littleman cat.

Hi Mrs. Bosley Chow Chow - I am glad you are feeling better. I was wondering why you didn't write for such a long time. My momma and daddy and I will say a prayer for you so that you will continue to heal and be well 100% again. We love you!

Sorry I am soooo very late with this, but momma was very busy today and then I gave her my hurt feelings look and she took pity on me.

It was warm and windy today and it will storm all night. UGH! Well, I have to get ready for my dinner now. Take care. See ya later. Love, Gracyn.
