How to Move a Fire Pit
Posted by F&S
Last week, Martha went antiquing and found a gigantic metal vat and she thought it would be great to use as an outdoor fire pit. It was too big for her to take, so she sent Uncle Carlos with the pickup and, of course, he took us along for the ride. It wasn’t such an easy mission because that thing weighs a ton. Come and have a look.
Martha bought this huge iron vat and sent us with Uncle Carlos to pick it up.
Hmmm - looks pretty heavy for just Carlos - any ideas for how to get it into the pickup?
I think we need a few strong men, but I don't see any troops around here.
Excuse us, sir - you look strong but not strong enough to lift this thing.
Now you're talking!!! A forklift is just what we need!
Work the levers, mister!
Now that's what I call a job well done!
Back at the farm - now we just have to figure out how to get this thing off of the pickup.
That's right, Wilmer. We need four stones placed right there.
It's a good thing that we have a very strong crew of men.
Easy does it, guys. One, two, three - LIFT!
Walk it down this way. And whatever you do, DON'T LET IT DROP!
Guys - set it very gently right there on top of those stones.
Now, make sure it's level. I can eyeball it for you.
Hey, is this some kind of joke?
Hey - what's going on here?
Seriously, guys - what's going on?
This really isn't very funny.
